You honestly think game action and training camp are the same? Either you're naive or you've just discovered the game of football. Thanks for the laugh, I appreciate it. Noeller 1
kelownabomberfan Posted Saturday at 08:33 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:33 PM I was wondering what Mace said to O'Shea at the end of the game - "what more did you want us to do to let you win this game? Have our guys run the ball into our own endzone and let your guys fall on it?" What an embarrassment, that these guys could barely beat the Riders "C" team. ddanger, BaconNBigBlue, Tracker and 2 others 5
rebusrankin Posted Saturday at 08:54 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:54 PM Sit Zach so he's as healthy as possible for the playoffs. Next week does not matter. kelownabomberfan 1
Stickem Posted Saturday at 08:59 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:59 PM 'not dead yet' ....yeah but we're certainly on 'life support'....Maybe we can 'trick play' the rest of the way....but the toss to Eli ain't it....Couple of things out of that mess last night....Vaval is looking more dangerous every time out...just has to remember to hold on to the ball.....I had to look twice to see if that was Sheehan ...he actually had a good game ....now if he can lock one into the corner, on their one, he might make a case to stick around

Honestly, that may have been an uglier win than completing 3 passes in Ottawa. Playing like that in a home game, fighting for a playoff spot against Saskatchewan’s jobbers was inexcusable. If they have to go to Montreal for the playoffs it’s going to look like the 1996 west semi final that cost Cal Murphy job, Tracker, wbbfan and rebusrankin 2 1

And y'know what...? Maybe they did actually. In the moment it sounded to me like they were taking personal responsibility for the offense being ****.... But actually what they were saying was "the offense was terrible. The D and ST were great and we have to be better on offense" Now, Zach did call himself out personally... Said that he needed to be better and that he thought his own play was bad. But... Now that I think about it, it is possible they were throwing the offense, as a whole, under the bus.... It's both play calling & execution that they aren't happy with (at least for ZC - BO has to be pissed with the calls being made). The Free Press had a good piece on the game and when it came to the play calling, it's not a good look for Hogan. Quote It’s a tale as old as, well, since Hogan became the offensive co-ordinator of the Bombers. The first-year play-caller continues to neglect one of his most important offensive weapons, Brady Oliveria, when things go south. Consider this: After logging 12 touches in the first half, Oliveria only touched the ball twice in the third quarter, the second of which came with 8:48 remaining in the frame. After that, the league’s reigning Most Outstanding Player didn’t touch the ball again until Winnipeg’s final drive of the game. In fact, during that dry spell, which saw just 44 net yards of offence for Winnipeg, Hogan even dialled up a play for offensive lineman Tui Eli, who ran a 12-yard corner route on first down from midfield — a perplexing play-call in itself. Collaros, who was almost immediately under pressure, overthrew the lineman. It seemed as though Hogan had no answer for his struggling unit and was throwing a trick play at the wall to see if it would stick. When Oliveira finally touched the ball again, he picked up 16 yards on a rush up the middle, and two plays later, caught a screen for 12 yards to set the Bombers up in position for the game-winning field goal. Hogan’s game-plan was particularly confusing, given the situation for the Bombers — facing a depleted Riders team that had their own troubles moving the ball on offence. For a team that has made its hay controlling the ball, it was the perfect script to feature the bell cow running back. It appears that Hogan continues to lack a feel for the game, which has rarely allowed the Bombers offence to get in a rhythm. https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/2025/10/18/didnt-like-it-but-bombers-will-take-it Brandon, rebusrankin, Piggy 1 and 1 other 3 1

If the motto is make sure certain starters are not hurt before the playoffs, play him. It's the perfect time to see what he's got, not only for the playoffs in case he's forced into play, but for the future. Like a mini try-out. But I also read from some around here that they believe he doesn't have the necessary tools to play as a starter in this league. Let's say that's true and the BB's also think that way then to me that's even more frustrating and suggests that someone in the coaching/management/scouting department needs to step up their game. Totally agree with this.

Goalie Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago (edited) To be fair there’s a couple losses that probably should have been wins also. Calgary. Sask. I mean those were last moment losses really. Could have changed the standings significantly but nope. We’d be hosting bc or Calgary. But yes does feel like lots of lip gloss. Lipstick on pig wins. Seems our O struggles when the other team has a pass rush and not so much when they don’t. Edited 4 hours ago by Goalie
