Collaros was playing really good football I thought... He just had **** protection and the receivers let him down at times. Also MAYBE Hogan, but I just don't know enough about that stuff to say for sure...

Wellllll.....Collaros wasn't exactly lighting it up before he went down, so we ought not expect much.

Vs Sask his last full game. 26 of 37 for 326. 26 completed passes is what Streveler has all season.  Zach and Strev have pretty much played in the same amount of games this year. Zach is well over 2000 yards. Strev is just over 1000 yards. It’s night and day. Hell Zach is better at rushing this year even with his 7.9 yard average compared to strevelers 3.5 yd average. I mean. Zach is 100x the qb

he had an excellent, maybe his best game manager play before being hurt.

Hogan for sure is a problem, wrs have been one but I think are solid to good now. the ol has been all over the place. As long as kola is in it isn’t gonna be great but it should be good enough. if they’d put Vanterpool back in it’d be better but they won’t.

So fun Collaros stat

Bombers have had 6 home games.

Collaros has missed 2 (Suspension Week 2 vs BC, Injured Week 9 vs Toronto), been knocked out of 2 (Week 7 vs Calgary, Week 14 vs the Riders) and started and finished the game twice (Week 4 vs Edmonton, Week 11 vs Ottawa).

Based on this, I expect Collaros to play this game, get injured again vs Saskatchewan, and then miss the Season Finale vs Montreal.

Given what we've seen with Zac, we need to do everything we can to protect him. If Vanderpool could help do it, even if it means not adding woods, or OShea forbid Ayers.

How effective Zac will be given that likely he wiil  be dumping off the ball at first sign of trouble or relying on a quick passing game ( not his strength) is a question, but cant be worse than the alternative

Something weird about seeing Drew Wolitarsky on the TiCats injury report under "load management" when he's only been dressed for 2 games and hasn't recorded any stats.

Whatever happened to those funny looking helmets they experimented with ly, that were supposed to help limit concussions? Feels like Zac should have one

Most of his injuries seem whiplash related as opposed to a blow to the head, but I'm no doctor.

Seven days between games and the Bombers are only practicing twice this week;

Tuesday, September 23
Practice: 11:40 a. m. - 1:10 p.m.

Wednesday, September 24
Closed practice

Thursday, September 25
Off day – no availability

Friday, September 26
Walkthrough: 11:10 a.m.

and we wonder why we more times than not look unprepared, and usually out coached....and at times the most basic of football things are just awful
