I expect that Zach can complete 3 passes ........on one drive.

That would be helpful, but the acid test is whether he can win a game.

zach has 3 games with less than 10 completions this year, so maybe he completes 9 and we win again?

Hey 9 completed passes is still a 300% increase over last week.

Collaros was playing really good football I thought... He just had **** protection and the receivers let him down at times. Also MAYBE Hogan, but I just don't know enough about that stuff to say for sure...

Wellllll.....Collaros wasn't exactly lighting it up before he went down, so we ought not expect much.

Vs Sask his last full game. 26 of 37 for 326. 26 completed passes is what Streveler has all season.  Zach and Strev have pretty much played in the same amount of games this year. Zach is well over 2000 yards. Strev is just over 1000 yards. It’s night and day. Hell Zach is better at rushing this year even with his 7.9 yard average compared to strevelers 3.5 yd average. I mean. Zach is 100x the qb

he had an excellent, maybe his best game manager play before being hurt.

Hogan for sure is a problem, wrs have been one but I think are solid to good now. the ol has been all over the place. As long as kola is in it isn’t gonna be great but it should be good enough. if they’d put Vanterpool back in it’d be better but they won’t.

So fun Collaros stat

Bombers have had 6 home games.

Collaros has missed 2 (Suspension Week 2 vs BC, Injured Week 9 vs Toronto), been knocked out of 2 (Week 7 vs Calgary, Week 14 vs the Riders) and started and finished the game twice (Week 4 vs Edmonton, Week 11 vs Ottawa).

Based on this, I expect Collaros to play this game, get injured again vs Saskatchewan, and then miss the Season Finale vs Montreal.

And a loss

Given what we've seen with Zac, we need to do everything we can to protect him. If Vanderpool could help do it, even if it means not adding woods, or OShea forbid Ayers.

How effective Zac will be given that likely he wiil  be dumping off the ball at first sign of trouble or relying on a quick passing game ( not his strength) is a question, but cant be worse than the alternative

Something weird about seeing Drew Wolitarsky on the TiCats injury report under "load management" when he's only been dressed for 2 games and hasn't recorded any stats.

Yeah cuz Streveler contributed so much to the win last week.

Just saying, he's been the qb of record for 3 wins.

The game against the Lions was a pleasant surprise

But in the other two wins, DST has 2x the touchdowns of the offense and Streveler has 4 turnovers... that's not exactly a recipe for winning football.

Whatever happened to those funny looking helmets they experimented with ly, that were supposed to help limit concussions? Feels like Zac should have one

Most of his injuries seem whiplash related as opposed to a blow to the head, but I'm no doctor.

That does seem to be a lack of practice sessions. I wonder whether anyone has looked into how the other eight teams are practicing.

imo, you have to build around what you can do. Hawk tackling practice is done with out pads, then I think you have to run a lot of really fast, timing  skelly drills. then when the pads are on you gotta do a ton of one on one and group drills with the lines and wrs/dbs.

We try to run regular offence and you have the qbs who no practical rush throwing deep on guys they know in side and out.

If you want to run rpos then you really have to put in a ton of reps. it’s gotta be bang bang stuff so the guys can make mistakes immediately correct em then drill doing it right.

I guarantee if you watch the als O practice you’ll see a lot of this stuff. But our OC has never been an oc above canadian hs I want to say? he’s struggling just to adapt to doing the oc job little on how the nature of practice is now. Hes so far behind the curve as an oc, he might struggle to get that job as a hs level again any time soon.

Those soft chairs by the fireplace sure look comfy at the Old Boys Club. I mean, the players worked SO HARD for that win last Saturday, they need some nice chairs to sit on.

Zach can complete 3 passes in his sleep. Strev needs a lot more work.

First 3 passes go for TDs. Nothing less will do!
