3rdand1.5 Posted yesterday at 07:32 PM Report Posted yesterday at 07:32 PM DON'T abandon the run, if you are down, still run, if it isn't working, block harder, try a different gap/misdirection, heavy sets, whatever.....but don't abandon it......I want to see time consuming punishing drives...We are making it too easy on opposing defensive fronts...be nasty, play till the whistle, push the pile...be the hammer, not the nail.....and stick with it!!! On defence communicate, communicate, and communicate some more and stop the self-inflicted harm..... rebusrankin, Bigblue204, wbbfan and 3 others 4 2
Goalie Posted yesterday at 07:51 PM Report Posted yesterday at 07:51 PM If the D can get some 2 and outs in the first half that would help immensely. They didn’t really do that last week. Tough for any O when you always playing from behind. Noeller and rebusrankin 2
WinnipegGordo Posted yesterday at 08:36 PM Report Posted yesterday at 08:36 PM (edited) A buddy is looking to sell 2 extra tix to tonight's game. Section 208 row 16, 60 for the pair. It's a great deal as he just wants to get rid of them. Message me if interested. SOLD Edited yesterday at 10:33 PM by WinnipegGordo
JohnnyAbonny Posted yesterday at 08:44 PM Report Posted yesterday at 08:44 PM A decent start is a must. Bombers haven’t had more than a 1 point lead since the Edmonton game. I can see them playing ball control and holding on if they get ahead but I’m not sure this team can come back from any kind of a deficit right now. wbbfan and Piggy 1 2
Booch Posted yesterday at 08:50 PM Report Posted yesterday at 08:50 PM Key...establish dominance on offence early....and keep foot on throat...Nothing cute or trying to be smartest in room....just straight ahead punishment...and things will open up Defense... utilize the athletes we have actually rostered....the best ones....pressure and force Arbuckle to have to make quick decisions...and our back end should feast...play attack defense....not react defense Coach the game with a purpose and with a bit of fire in the belly.....do that, and we will reap the rewards Piggy 1, BomberBall. and wbbfan 3
Atomic Posted yesterday at 09:37 PM Author Report Posted yesterday at 09:37 PM Easy to say "stick to the run" but if we go two and out a couple times in a row and we're down two TDs I'm not sure it's so simple Goalie, wbbfan and MrFreakzilla 3
voodoochylde Posted yesterday at 09:39 PM Report Posted yesterday at 09:39 PM A couple pre-game thoughts: This is the 4th (or 5th) different line combination this year .. how well are these guys going to play as a unit and how is Lofton going to hold up on Streveler’s blind side. If we have any chance of gutting out a win, this group has to stand up - it’s that simple. We (rightfully) got a bit of pressure against a beat up Toronto offensive line last week but gave up too many plays on the back end. Every one of those guys in the secondary need to be better. Bridges, Parker and Bonds have not been good all season. Bridges is out and Parker slides down next to Holm (who he’s played beside before). Is this the change we need or is this just shuffling the chairs on the deck of the titanic? I don’t think Kramdi has the range to be an effective safety and I think we can do better than Parker (and Bonds, who played really well at times last year) but will hold off forming an opinion until I see them play. And .. for the love of God .. go out and smack Toronto in the mouth and DON’T LET UP. coach17, JohnnyAbonny, wbbfan and 1 other 3 1
Tracker Posted yesterday at 09:58 PM Report Posted yesterday at 09:58 PM I think Streveler will have a good game, but it will not enough for him to assume the starter's job. Oliviera will rack up 100 yards or close to it. The D-line will perform well, but the defence will still give up 30+ points. O'Shea will assure us that everything is going to plan. This forum will be unbearable tomorrow. Walters will be invisible. rebusrankin, BigBlueFanatic, Piggy 1 and 1 other 4

Clock runs until under 3 minute warning in long quarters no matter what you do. Noeller 1

But I think he needs to solidify his spot here especially with mos waiting to announce his starting qb despite zach being out.

I did not like O'Shea throwing shade on Streveler after the last post-game interview. He hinted that he did not like Streveler's performance, so that tells me that we may be seeing Terry Wilson a lot sooner than we might expect. rebusrankin and wbbfan 2

BigBlueFanatic Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago I like Dave Naylor on the panel. Can’t disagree with the panel’s assessment of the Bombers’ recent play, even with the shallow analysis. Discussing the Bombers lack of physicality while the camera panned on a smiling Osh did sting a bit. rebusrankin and Mark H. 2

Booch Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago If we lose...defense plays well and kept us in but that God awful offence just can't get rolling...I can somewhat consider that a positive..and some new recruits on offensive side of ball need to be infused next If we lose...all 3 phases...look bad in doing so..and more poor coaching...with defensive changes...we are a bad bad ....bad team and overhaul needs to commence immediately....that includes coaching BaconNBigBlue and Tracker 1 1
