If the Red Blacks get stomped is this Dyce's last game as HC

If that happens it should be, but I doubt it will be.

If Walter’s isn’t extended before the off season begins, I wonder if ott makes a run at him to rebuild the whole franchise.

Yeah I have no idea why they extended Dyce before the season started.

Burke is (afaik) on the last year of his deal so they may be in a position to clean house if they want to eat that extra year of Dyce's contract.

So I'm not watching right now but checked The Score app.... 7-4 at the half? I thought BLM was the best QB in the league and Lawler was worth 500k minimum....no?

Saw him so that in Blue and gold many times.

First half they were not worth it, Lawler dropped an easy catch and Bo was stymied by the Ottawa defence, but first possesion of second half one contested end zone jump ball shows Lawlers worth.

I made that TD happen....

Nothing wrong with trying a FG and being one down.

Probably trying for stability since they are confident in brown. But it was just bad judgment on their part.

No joke.

Zach is in 9th place as a starting passer in the CFL. Our passing game is terrible. Yeah, Lawler is worth it. One deep ball to him & the game changes.

now I'm all onboard the Collaros is cooked train, but dude has had 2 bye weeks plus a suspension so he's played 3 games. Not exactly a lot to go on.

Trevor Harris who missed one game & just had a bye has played 4 games, Nathan Rourke, Davis Alexander & Dru Brown have all played 3 games, the same as Collaros. Both had been out more than one game with injuries. Alexander is still out. All have more yards passing yards than Collaros. It just shows how anemic our passing game is. Meanwhile, Ken Lawler puts on a pass receiving clinic every week.

GP: 5  Bo Levi Mitchell, Tiger Cats, 1,485 yards, 11 tds, 1 int

GP: 5  Vernon Adams, Stampeders, 1,453 yards, 5 tds, 5 int

GP: 5   Nick Arbuckle, Argos, 1,449 yards, 7 tds, 7 int

GP: 4  Trevor Harris, Riders, 1,231 yards, 6 tds, 3 ints

GP: 3  Dru Brown, RedBlacks, 1,012 yards, 5 tds, 2 ints

GP: 5  Tre Ford, Elks, 950 yards, 5 tds, 2 ints

GP: 3  Nathan Rourke, Lions, 925 yards. 5 tds, 2 ints

GP: 3  Davis Alexander, Alouettes, 803 yards, 5 tds, 2 ints

GP: 3  Zach Collaros, Blue Bombers, 801 yards 6 tds, 4 ints

Princess Auto Stadium, Mosaic, TD Place, and BMO Field are the only CFL stadiums with a naming sponsor now

So what you're saying is, guys who have only played 3 games have less stats? And Alexander a d collaros are a whole 2 yards different. Like I said, not a big sample size.

Very high % of his throws are outside the catch radius. Slightest pressure = panic. Slow decision matrix. I've seen enough. But Hogan, a rookie OC, may lack the cajones to make a change.

Yup...Lawler best in league...would look good here trying to pull in Zac' ducks

We should have paid him and resigned schoen to slowly get him back to form..and if that meant dumping Thomas...one of Wilson or Jones...Kramdi...Kolo....so be it...we'd be a better team for it

And looked Iike 9th best...even his "great" game had a lot of red flag moments...

Hopefully Jackson has some say/influence...

I just listed the 9 starters. Three of those qbs have played 3 games. Two have better stats than Collaros. If you look at the others, we have no way of catching up because our passing numbrs are anemic as we have a shell of what we used to have for receivers. Yeah, Collaros ain't what he used to be but MOS & Walters made it worse. I don't care how much Lawler is making, he is worth every penny. Unless Schoen has an epiphany as a receiver & starts putting up 150 yards a game rceiving, he isn't. He looks like he's lost at least one& maybe two steps. I suffered the exact same knee injury Schoen did last year when I was 22. The injury was life changing. Even with rehab my knee was never the same. It was replaced in 2022.

To be fair, that was like 67 years ago.  Medical science and treatment has improved since then 😉

It wasn't 67 years ago, I would have to have been 3. However, it was a long time ago & yes things have improved since but careers are still cut short with an injury like that. And it still is a life altering injury.

To be fair, we run the ball prob more than definitely Hamilton and Ottawa and probably BC even. Collaros ain’t throwing 40 times a game.

As the in-house sarcasm expert that I am, I'm thinking you missed one here. 🙂
