Yup, athletes and officials have seen a huge increase in that sort of thing as betting has become a more mainstream part of sports.

Even Toronto has insane fans. They might not have lots but the majority they have are likely quite hardcore fans who partake in the alcohol and with social media now , it’s easy for idiots to make death threats.
