2025 CFL (Non-Bombers) Season

From 3DN about TSN broadcasts this year....

"The CFL on TSN is taking a renewed approach to its broadcasts for 2025.

The network’s panel will travel to all nine stadiums over the course of the upcoming season, sources told 3DownNation, including visits to Regina and Montreal in Week 1. Kate Beirness is returning to host the panel with Henoc Muamba and Davis Sanchez filling the main roles alongside her.

Paul LaPolice will also frequently appear on the panel, though he will also perform colour commentary for one game per week. As previously reported, longtime panelist and Hall of Fame quarterback Matt Dunigan is no longer with the network.

As for Milt Stegall, who has been with the network since 2009, there is no timeline for his return after the death of his eldest son, Chase. The 20-year-old died unexpectedly at DePaul University on Monday where he was a member of the school’s soccer team.

“Our CFL on TSN family is absolutely devastated over Chase’s passing. If you know Milt, you know that his family is everything to him, and we cannot imagine the pain he is going through right now,” said producer Chris Edwards in a statement to 3DownNation. “Milt is our brother and we are going to give him our love and support him in any way we can, and in whatever way he needs.”

During a broadcast teeing up the 2025 season on Tuesday, TSN dedicated its coverage this year to Chase’s memory.

TSN plans to flesh out the panel by rotating in active players, though it doesn’t appear as though this will happen every week. Players will generally make panel appearances during bye weeks, though there may also be opportunities for in-studio appearances when players are in town to play the Argonauts or Tiger-Cats.

Friday Night Football, a longtime network staple, will have a brand new presentation featuring fresh animations, graphics, and music. One source called the scope of the production “bigger.”

The play-by-play personnel at the network has remained unchanged for 2025, featuring Rod Smith, Dustin Nielson, Marshall Ferguson, and occasionally Farhan Lalji. Colour commentary will be performed by Glen Suitor, Duane Forde, and LaPolice."

Honestly the main selling point of the CFL are the timing rules of the final 3 minutes.  And arguably the most boring part of any NFL game when a team with a one score lead can just bleed the clock un

So who wants to go to some Argo home games next season In Winnipeg

The CFL announced Friday that the Argonauts will play home games at Hamilton Stadium, Mosaic Stadium in Regina and Winnipeg's Princess Auto Stadium against the host teams during the World Cup.

The Lions will relocate for two home games, with the club planning to announce those details at a later time.

it says "against the host teams"... so I think we just play Tor in Winnipeg twice next year instead of a home and home... which doesn't really make sense... you'd think it would be a neutral site game in fairness to the Argos

For example they could play their "home" game against Sask in Winnipeg... and their "home" game against Wpg in Regina... this would also include the added benefit that the Wpg and Sask fans likely would not cheer for their rival giving the Argos something of a home field advantage...

Who gets the revenue for the Argos/Bombers game?

Guessing split in Argos favour.

I will absolutely try to make it to those games.

I wonder if they will do a deal for Season Ticket Holders

No deal for STH - just got an email, it's been automatically added at the same rate as any other game but we have the option to opt out of that one game:

Additional Home Game added in 2026 against the Argos!

The Blue Bombers’ scheduled away game in Toronto for the 2026 season will instead be played at Princess Auto Stadium, as BMO Field will be unavailable while hosting the FIFA World Cup. If you wish to opt out of this game please contact your Fan Services representative by January 31. If you have a parking pass or park & ride pass, the additional pass has been added for the game.

The draw back of course.... how many people in winnipeg would pay to watch the argos and riders? Similarly how many gappers gonna shell out to watch the argos and Bombers?

Ah that makes sense because it is against the Bombers.

I was thinking they would keep the Road/Home split at 9, but because they are playing the Bombers they essentially have 10 home games.

Would have been neat to see the Argos play another team.

I'm slowly becoming addicted to the poutine served at the stadium. I don't know what they put in that thing

It's Prozac.

I'd say the Bombers get the rental of the stadium but all concessions, merch & ticket sales will go to the Argos. If the game is sold out then that would be the equivalent of THREE Argo home games. This is a cash grab by MLSE. They don't care about the Argos or their fans.

Argos vs. Elks was an entertaining game. Fajardo takes an absolute pounding...not sure how many more downs he'll be playing.

if you can say one thing about the Faj....he's a tuff s.o.b who keeps coming back for more...You gotta like that aspect about him

And over the last 3 yrs he has actually evolved and improved quite a bit...as long as you can limit his yapping to the camera in interviews you can almost stomach him

Too stupid to know when he's beaten.

At least you're consistent.

Sad to say, but Fajardo is better than Collaros and if he would agree to wear a gag when not behind center, I would take him over Collaros in a heartbeat.

You guys have been beaten down so hard, you have CTE..... 😂

Gotta say Faj is performing well and I can see why deadmonton is sticking with him over Ford.....He certainly has improved his game and it's going to be tough for the Elks to take him out....Bad news for Ford

Not my fault you’re blinded by your love for anything Blue and Gold. Fajardo is an annoying weiner but he’s playing way better than Zach

CoFaj is making plays and helping Edmonton win, can't dispute that.

It's more of a back handed compliment. He doesn't quit when he's in trouble, he keeps trying to make a play. Sometimes it blows up sometimes it works.

Home Game - singular and in name only. It's one game in each city but still against the host team.

Argos, Lions to play select home games away from BMO Field, BC Place Stadium in 2026 - CFL.ca

I really like Luke Wilsons take and comments on this calling out the CFL for not seeing the opportunity to grow the game by shifting the site to something more local like London. He was censored for this and had to remove all his comments unfortunately. Good article in the Toronto Sun.  TSN's Luke Willson rips CFL 'rats' for attempting to silence him, then removes post

As much as he irritates me, it’s true.

Fajardo outplayed Zach big time in the 2023 GC too.

Outplaying Zach in a Grey cup sadly isn't all that high of a bar.

Zc has really been outplayed in last 3...and even the 2 wins...wasn't from him shooting the lights out...both those were total team wins and riding a solid AF defence and a killer ground game.

Caleb Evans torn ACL and out for the season for MTL. Shea Patterson just signed.
