Likely OSheas/Walter fate will be determined by the playoff game performances I think if O’Shea And or Kyle want to be here, they will be. It’s that simple. Something like 9 straight playoff appearances now. It’s kind of crazy honestly. They have come a long way together. Maybe one departs and one stays maybe both stay but I think it’s 100 percent their decision im also not hiring from with in if I’m replacing either of them tho. Not a chance. A gm who doesn’t live here in McManus would be catastrophic and hall is the only qualified guy and he’s 99 years old. Edited 19 hours ago by Goalie CodyT, wbbfan, Bigblue204 and 1 other 2 2

Give the guys atleast a year to right the ship. Honestly it feels disrespectful to me to just throw these guys to the wolves after what they've brought to this organization. Hate seeing fans turn instantly on players/coaches. I do get this is pro football, and would it be warranted? After this season... Probably. That being said. I'll be happy if there back. This isn't new though. What many people have been complaining about (not going to rehash the same old arguments) has been happening for a couple seasons. This is just the first time the team hasn't been able to overcome the obvious problems and now more people have come around to the idea that maybe it's time for a change. These guys are Bomber legends and I don't think anyone will dispute that but all good things come to an end at some point. wbbfan, Bigblue204, Stickem and 2 others 3 1 1

I think we're all dissapointed in the outcome of the last few years. A lot of bone headed moves. To play devil's advocate though, would we have gotten to the dance at all (nevermind 5 running) with a different staff? I'm not convinced. I think 17to85 hit the nail on the head. Osh needs to find the fire again. That may be here, or that may be elsewhere. wbbfan and Goalie 2

I'd feel much more confident in this regime if they showed any kind of willingness to change/adapt but we haven't really seen that yet. Whether they stay or go, some things need to change. Slimy Sculpin Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago I wasn’t sure where to post this but here goes. Yesterday I received an email from the Bombers thanking me for being “part of something special”, a sold out PAS for this season and going back to mid-season last year. As season ticket holders or casual ticket purchasers, I’m guessing that more than a few of you got the same email. The sender was “Wade Miller <info@news.bluebombers.com>". This appears to be the Bombers’ generic mailbox with Miller’s name attached to it. However, when I hit “reply”, I got what appears to be Miller’s actual Bomber email address (wmiller@bluebombers.com). So, if you’re less than happy about the CFL’s proposed rule changes and/or changes to the field dimensions as I am, this might be an opportunity to let the President of the team know how you feel about it. Cheers. wbbfan, Stickem, coach17 and 1 other 4
Booch Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago they have had several seasons now to right the ship...I give the first Cup fail a mulligan...but since they should have been doing whatever to right the ship...and turn it back around...and would have been real easy too Instead...they have let it degrade further for 3 yrs now....to the point where we are at...question is....are they able to do it now with the people in charge?....I have my doubts.....and what transpores in playoffs will be a good indicator...same ol same ol and loss due to similar reason/issues.....see ya later GCJenks and wbbfan 2

Mcmanus has interviewed for GM jobs now, so I think he might be willing to move up here for the job. That is just speculation on my part though. Idk why he would interview for gm jobs if he wasn't willing to move though lol. My concern with Hall isn't even age, the primary one is health. He's only 64, but he has had some real struggles. And while I love the guy, and leader, I don't think he's cut out for that role. BomberBall. and Bigblue204 1 1

Grass being greener, or something like that 1000% status quo has been "working" Well said Personally, I think last year was a big red flag. We recovered, but we did so by a huge streak of fluky wins. From that, to this year is a large sample size of un addressed issues. (not even getting into the GC loses to backup QBs) I think if he/they get next year, and I am sure they will, it should only be between half a year and up to the LDC worth of rope. Another start like we've seen both years, and you have to clean house to save face with the fan base. And I HATE mid season coach/gm firings. To extend contracts on both, and not being able to trust them with a season, is an awful position to put yourself in. If/when we do that, we need to insulate the staff/front office. We've got brock who can step in, though sub optimal for sure. I'd want a commitment from Danny that he'd take the interim job and come up here for the rest of the year. Then I think we'd also need an OC who can be a HC candidate to take over. We've seen Jackson do it with success, but at that point I think you need a decent back up OC he can work with in a positional role. But the fact we didn't give him he job and gave it to hogan, and no one else scooped him up is worrying. CodyT and rebusrankin 2
Stickem Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago I don't know who started the rumor, and I stress rumor only, that Dinwoodie would be moving on to take up the gm and head coaching duties in Ottawa...IF that's true that would leave a big job open in TO ...Could/would Osh be interested in it...being closer to his hometown in North Bay and playing for the club he made his initial CFL start.....Like I said ..just a rumor but you just never know when all the 'coaching musical chairs' games start at seasons end
Noeller Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Is Dinwiddie's contract up this year? That's interesting for sure. I just honestly have no clue who we would want if Walters and Osh left. There's certainly no upgrades readily available...
Goalie Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Toronto will hire Bill Belicek. RD stays in Toronto. Osh stays here. but If RD goes to Ottawa then it’s likely Osh goes to the T dot, does he sell tickets for them tho. Maybe maybe not. I don’t think so. But I could see that scenario playing out. lapolice to Winnipeg cuz Tina misses Selkirk. Osh tho seems more Winnipeg than most Winnipegers tho. Dudes a shorts in November guy. If our season peters out without at least a division final appearance, I would like to see Walters fired and I could go either way about MOS. If this wasn't a Grey Cup hosting year I could cut more slack based on their record up to this point but to screw the pooch as badly as Walters has done when we are hosting is a for sure grounds for termination and if the Bombers choose to just clean house on both I could understand that as well, although I think MOS deserves more benefit of the doubt for this year than Walters. I am called the MOS apologist on here but as you can see that simply isn't true. If he gone he gone. Edited 3 hours ago by GCn20

I could see Toronto having a strong interest in mos, especially. 24 minutes ago, Noeller said: Is Dinwiddie's contract up this year? That's interesting for sure.
