it's not necessarily about him being just a 500 yard receiver... if that's all he brought, I'd agree... he brings chemistry with the offense.... blocking... TE-type play... leadership... reliability (as a player, not necessarily when it comes to injury concerns)... if the Bomber decided to bring him back, it wouldn't be to put this O over the top... it would be help shore up the bottom end and provide depth...

Of course we all agree, unearthing a difference maker at this point would be amazing... but probably not realistic...

Woogie is a guy Zach trusts... That's the most important part, to me...

You're not wrong -- Wolitarsky wouldn't solve our "no Kenny Lawler" problem ... but he would solve our "starting Concoran" problem.

Wasn't even a link to his release - it's a link to his profile on the Ticats website, where he's still listed on their active roster.  Nothing on FB, Insta or the CFL site about him being released so I have no idea why the link was posted.

I do have another name that can fill in as an emergency receiver.     Why not bring back Lucky Whitehead again?  Better then nothing and he can return kicks if need be.

Yeah, I don't think Woli was actually released... Much speculation about nothing, lol.

But I'd take him back, given the chance.

lol. Still wouldn’t bring him back cuz he wouldn’t be starting. Ppl can go on and on until they blue in the face about the backup receiver but really, it’s irrelevant. We need some better starting receivers. Woli would be a backup here cuz no way we start 3 cdn receivers.

It's not that irrelevant when we have the wizardry to carry one backup and thats who comes in if a guy goes down...like we saw...or 2

Who would you rather see out there again as the backup..Woli or Corcoran?.....seems like a pretty easy choice and relevant one to me...His presence out there would garner attention and make some space for our other guys as well..

He wouldnt be brought back to be the guy....but augment what we had and offer proven vet experince...not like the dude is over the hill in Biggie/Thomas territory by any means

His presence would give us a bette roster than with one of Cobb or Corky

they didnt wanna pay him and figured Clercius was ready...which he is....but had zero depth behind him tho...poor foresight

And that means absolutely nothing.  They decided to move on from Jake Thomas in 2018 and the ******* guy is still here so they definitely aren't opposed to bringing players back. 

That said - this is a nothing burger debate since there have been no rumours or intel suggesting this is even a possibility.  A poster with zero credibility posted a link to his Ticats profile and people went a bit nuts over it.

I reported nothing! Someone else posted something that looked like a waiver wire transaction and talked about bringing Woogie home.... And all ensuing posts seemed to believe the same as I did.

We could have had Darvin Adams back two years ago when Ottawa cut him but Osh passed. Wouldn't surprise me if he passed on Woli as well because picking him up would mean that he made a mistake. Osh never admits he made any mistakes.

Ottawa didn't cut him - he only signed a 1 year deal and played all 18 games for them so he was a free agent.  The fact that nobody else signed him after a nearly 1000 yard season (949 to be exact) suggests that maybe he was done with ball?  If guys like Sheed were still getting looks from teams, you'd have to think Adams would as well.

One day some of you will want Jake Thomas back when he’s finished. It’s just wild honestly. Osh gets the **** on for his apparent love of vets and every time an ex bomber veteran gets released from another team or doesn’t get released even,Bring him back. It’s just crazy stuff. No. Those are the guys that once you move on from, you don’t bring back. Like bringing lucky whitehead back last year. Just nope. That was dumb and a reminder why you don’t bring veterans you once moved on from back.
