I was commenting on just that during the game to my friend. He seems to have a nose for the ball and often seems to break downhill quickly to make some punishing hits just as the ball is arriving.

He is all over guys and super physical. Only 25 and will keep getting better.

Love his down hill style, like you say

He is doing this here He got Banks in the ribs in the 2nd Q and it clearly threw him off.  Read the route in the 3rd came down hill and caused a Banks fumble.

I said before, and got shouted down, but you coulda made the case for him as GC MOP. That dude is outstanding.

Our next nfl bound db at this rate. I can't wrap my head around how we keep un earthing these gems at db who are soo young and soo good right away. Any team in the league in need of dbs should look at our cuts and pr.

I was thinking the same thing. Probably going back down South next year.

I will be hyped if he signs on for another 2 years.

watching the highlight pack for the game, man he was all over the place. Kyle Walters just finds so many quality defensive backs.

That new corner looks pretty good too.  He did give up that touchdown but honestly his coverage on the play was pretty solid.  Just maybe mistimed his jump a little bit but I think he's a keeper.

If you think about, what they're doing with DBs makes sense:

1. The really good ones that make the NFL - they can get one or two good years out of them - without having to pay big $$

2. They get hurt more than other positions - so they have a solid reserve of guys who can step in

No one talked about him but Brandon Alexander is the glue that holds that whole secondary together. Can play any position in it at a high level. Also Nick Taylor had a fantastic game too.

He is. I mean to go from s to Sam and not only not miss a beat but drastically improve the sam play is soo hard. I hope he stays at sam when Darby is healthy and Darby goes to s. I'm guessing Houston makes the game day roster as a di and Hallett comes in more and more.

Our secondary is miles stronger than it was early in 2019. Our whole d is.

Strong possibility that Jones will be the starting SAM vs the Argos.
