Very hard to part with unless it makes absolute sense. Monahan has 35 points in 49 games this year. It is a solid add. Vancouver set the tone with the acquisition of Lindholm. Goalie Posted February 2 Report Share Posted February 2 (edited) It’s ok but a 1st in my opinion is overpay. Must not be lots of centers actually available. Guess the other plus is low cap hit so prob could grab another player or 2. essentially tho this is a 1st for a guy who has similar fancy stats as Gus does. Plus he’s poor defensively. I think if we are being honest here, he’s more stastny than Hayes. You also have to remember supply and demand and he’s kind young still so could fit long term.
