I still get more excited about this game than almost any other one on the schedule, even though we get our asses kicked pretty much every year. The prospect of going into Regina and beating them on Labour Day just makes it feel like Christmas morning.

The Bombers have had 7 starting quarterbacks for the LDC in the last decade, including Chris Streveler today. Let's see what the kid can do.

We’re getting killed on predictions for this game, what with the shortage of players on offence, but our defence will be strong. 

Keep the turnovers down and keep it clean (Winnipeg is the least penalized team in the CFL at just 7.3 flags per game; only 15 of those have come on Special Teams.) and we should have a shot.

 

Hopefully this is Rider Nation this evening.

Wyman bellyaching about Matthews only getting 4 targets a game....not mentioning the drops.  Make those plays and he's still on the roster, that's how he could have made his mark.

Drops = fewer targets.

Bombers will win, even with injuries, better team in every way.

who knows which Bomber D guy or guys will star in this game, but one or more of them will.

 

 

As with every other year and even last week with the Riders.....  don't give Saskatchewan the momentum early in the game and quiet the fans.  Once things settle down we take over...
