Giving a team to the Maritimes is a huge mistake. If they really wanted a team they'd have packed the park. They didn't. This whole thing is a joke. That's all the CFL needs is another team in constan

Yeah I'm all for a team in eastern Canada, I just dont see how it's a viable option. Not long term anyways.

The Halifax expansion is a bad idea for many reasons, but hearing the ownership group talking about playing in 2021 and "playing a couple seasons" in Moncton while a stadium is built in Nova Scotia is complete lunacy.  They'll be bankrupt before they play a game in their stadium.  Based on the crowds showing to these games they are likely to lose $10-15 million a season on operations in Moncton, plus the initial costs of starting up.

There's truly no benefit to the league.  Is TSN going to cough up a bunch of money because there's now a team in the coveted Atlantic TV market of half a million people?

Mbt looking really good throwing through tight windows and moving the pocket.

I believe they also missed 3 separate dates to present their proposals to the Halifax city council as well.

Additionally, its a market that isn't growing, with governments that have debt issues so severe that they have to cut essential services.

Very true.  There are weekends when there is not an ER open on Cape Breton to facilitate the doctor having a couple days off.  They can't justify giving a dollar to a stadium.

Black asked member of ownership group whether he had ever called a CFL game. Prospective owner said no. Rod responded "neither have we". What a bizarrely wonderful response.

Thought it actually was a dig at the league for the Sask/Montreal fiasco.

Well I hope everyone is relieved that Black had chowder today.

Rod Black just literally read Geno Lewis' dad's Wikipedia page but in a way that "he watched him play at Southern Alabama."  Junie Lewis look it up!

Yep dumb one

Chamblin doesnt understand how challenges work.

I advocate for the “change of scenery” option. BC and Toronto should trade coaches. Irony is: no one in either city would notice.

Outstanding kick out blocks on the J. Johnson TD.

Began watching at the triple reverse touchdown play by the Als. Heck, this is pure entertainment since then!

MBT has no pocket awareness.  Just awful.

Good game so far, surprised the Argos didn't take the easy F.G. with 1:30 left to play.

Yeah with the ending they gotta be questioning that now

MBT throws a slant behind Edwards, Als win.

I've been trying to be interested but cannot. Glad for Khari.

Argos and Lions really close to being out of the playoff race at Labour Day.  Both 5 games out with 8 left to play.
