Think it means Oliviera and Augustine made the team, plus the fullbacks.  Also Simonise lost out to an import receiver/returner.  Too much competition to coast onto the roster.

Bennett struggled with accuracy. McGuire’s velocity and accuracy made it an easy decision.

AKA chip ? and JB rules called it correctly.

I am surprised about bennett. Hope he gets on somewhere good.

That makes sense. Just thought they'd keep him to have 4 NI WR on the AR and keep developing him. Agree on the competition piece and the comments earlier about poor performance.

He played mostly SB in Tor, not RB.

He would take Simonise's roster spot.  He can be used in a variety of way and provide insurance should Demski's injury become an ongoing issue.

Okay so Woli, Petermann, Demski need to be cut? Just not sure what Coombs could provide us that we don't already have. Nevermind just an open roster spot

Wasn't Coombs more of a catch passes out of the backfield kind of guy?

If Demski is hurt bad I could see it somewhat

Yes, releasing Simonise is a way to keep both Augustine and Oliveira - who will spell Harris in that RB/SB hybrid - I hope.

I think it's odd that Augustine had a tough time getting a CFL job, but glad the Bombers got him.

I hope so. He was our most effective Canadian receiver in preseason... pretty good for the undrafted local kid who didn't even get signed until after camp started.
