  • Even when Nichols completed a pass today, it forced the receiver to hit the dirt and made it impossible for them to make a play. He was absolutely terrible.

Leaving Nichols out there for two 2nd and 2 dive handoffs to Harris was inexcusable.  Neither worked and no wonder why.  Nichols isn't a threat.  We have the best short-yardage team in the league and didn't even use them.

Are we going to find our downfield passing game in the final 3 minutes of the game?

Nope, we’ll go underneath when they’re in prevent, make the O look good.

Sure. I don't disagree. But the entire offence was brutal. Pretending otherwise is silly. I just can't abide by the people saying this is 100% on Nichols.

You’re absolutely right that the offence was brutal but how much of that is having a QB that can’t get playmakers the ball and caves under the slightlest pressure? Most would argue a lot of it.

Have to give credit to the D but they couldn't hold then off all 2nd half, the O was a complete joke

NOW Matty wants to start tossing it...

Can't waste downs now.  No throw aways.

How did we end up with such a passive offense?

Nah rests on MOS who wont pull Nichols no matter how much he cant scramble or throw down the field. Feel bad for the defense...

Right into the dirt....sheeeeesh

The threat of Streveler helped us run out the clock last week... I have no idea why we didn’t go back to that.

Streveler missed the throw to Harris, but should’ve been used a lot more than he was.

3 quarters of the game Calgary's O did nothing.  Outside of one 40 yard drive our O did nothing for 4 quarters.

Nichols had a very poor game.

Receivers didn't get open

Offensive line didn't give enough time

Streveler missed an inexcusable go ahead td

Lapolice called a terrible game.

I fail to see the controversy here.

Nichols stays in because MoS won’t disrespect him. That’s admitting the game is over.

Absolute disgrace today.

At least 3 curl routes on 3rd and 10.

Useless Qb..useless head coach. Match made in heaven. We get the same show next year smh.

Brandon Bridge probably would have scored a TD today.  Pathetic offensive effort all the way around.  Horrible plan and brutal execution.

Lapo called a great game last game... this one back to conservative and overthinking

Nichols should not have played beyond.10 minutes in the 3rd.  O'Shea is too loyal, and they didnt even use Streveler properly today when he was in.

Nichols has completely lost his mojo.  Can't even move it against a prevent.

The controversy is that people will continue to defend Nichols regardless of how many embarrassing performances he puts up. This Bomber team was really good at almost every position but Nichols was routinely below average and frequently abysmal. It’s the attitude of blaming the rest of the team and not holding Nichols accountable that keeps us in perennial mediocrity. You cannot win it all with a QB like Nichols unless literally everything else goes right. This isn’t how you win with regularity in the CFL.

Nichols throwing dump passes on second and ten.. my lord

O’Shea just refuses to make a ballsy move.

Chickenshit O today

I wouldn’t put so much blame on Nichols as much as Bombers recievers and Harris. They should’ve caught the straight up catches
