Getting new Jersey...now who to get??

Grabbing a new Bomber away jersey and I'm wondering who to get that's currently a safe bet or do I just go with an older name like Segall, Walby, Robert's etc.. if I go new then I'm looking at Loffler,Leggett.

Leggett seems like a pretty safe bet.

Kiss of death.

I struggled trying to decide who to get on my jersey. I went back and forth on different players and then I walked into the Bomber Store and saw a Leggett jersey hanging on the wall and I just knew that was the one. Don't overthink it - trust your gut.

Due to how frequently players change teams in the CFL, I have two rules whenever I have a name stitched on the back of my jersey:

1. Player has to be retired
2. Player must've won at least one Grey Cup for the Bombers.

As a younger fan, it forces me to do some research into some of the older players that I didn't know about because I wasn't around when they played. Suggestions that satisfy this criteria: Kenny Ploen, Greg Battle, Leo Lewis etc.

Doing so means I'll never be stuck  in the awkward position of having the jersey of a player that went south (Chris Matthews) or signed elsewhere (Odell Willis). It also gives me a chance to learn more about the Bombers.

Just my two cents.

I like your criteria for having a name that ensures relevance for a very long time. A player that has been inducted into the Hall of Fame would satisfy my requirement for a named jersey.

So, fans should burn their Dieter Brock jerseys?

Medlock might be a good choice think he is going to be around for a while now.

If your going current player id look at harris, medlock, loffler or legget. Old names harold nash, bolden or a ton of other guys. If you dont have atleast 1 stegall, or blink thats the way to go imop.

Loffler or Leggett... Medlock too all viable to be "worthy" imo..

If it's still too difficult to decide you could always buy them all. ;)

33 Harris would be a safe bet.

or if you want a very safe name on your jersey and it don't need to be a current Bomber player... I'll go with Canada. ;)

I once encouraged someone to get one of either Poblah or Muamba on their jersey... stars in the making I told them.

Again, as I've mentioned many times before, there is an actual human being who not only purchased, but continues to wear, a Ladarus Vann jersey to Bombers games in Calgary. I see him nearly every year.......

Its 17to85, isn't it?

My mom bought me a gold zeke Moreno jersey 8 years ago for a present when I had a very bad injury.....I also named my dog "brazzel" after Chris brazzel too
