GDT: Toronto @ Winnipeg

It's Game Day!

Toronto rolls into town with Drew Willy in tow as Winnipeg tries to extend their 6 game winning streak.

1 PM start.  Forecast is sunny with temperatures around 18 - 20 degrees Celsius with a Southerly 10 km/h wind.  A beautiful fall day for football.

  • In the first half, it appeared that on several of LeFevorer's big plays, the argos OL was holding onto Bomber defenders like drowning men on a life raft.

  • Yep.  Thats been my biggest complaint, lack of finish and settling for field goals.  There were 3 TD drives in the 2nd half that started at Toronto 51, Winnipeg 48 and Winnipeg 31.   Nice to see

  • Any tips? Don't dress the kid in green.

JFG to start over Sheppard according to Bauming.

I am sure Sheppard and Denmark will be rotating in and out.

Wild is not in the game today.

Right, that might happen if they played for the Als.

At the stadium... Saw a group of people with #5 jerseys with masking tape covering the old name and Glenn written on top lol .

I still need to get around to peeling the duct tape off my Glenn jersey

The last replay of Sheppard's knee buckling made me ill - hope he's ok

Mother of god is Randle getting his *** handed to him. Makes you wonder if we would have been better off not rocking the DB boat and just staying with the status quo.

The entire D is being shredded but even then If the O could score a TD or 2 instead of what? 5 fgs now....

You won't win kicking fgs

Stupid sexy Flanders is starting to take over.

Amazing how success in the red zone stimulates the entire team finally they are scoring TDs instead of field goals go bombers go

Moe Leggett..bringing the Heath.

Wonder what Pedersen has to say about us now?

That 2nd half offence better show up next week against Calgary.

I'll tell you this, Calgary is paying attention to us. They'll be super-motivated to end our streak.

How good is this guy? Money Medlock!

Which teams with winning records at the time has Calgary beat. I mean... right now it's just really themselves bc and the bombers

He had a little rust to start but his interception was the turning point of the game.

While i agree i thought that Leggatt running out the missed field goal when we had a 7 pt lead and not giving the Argos anything also turned the tide.

The D struggled in the first half. Lots of missed holds on the argos oline. Same Olds bombers were being called for. O stepped up in the 2nd half and the D looked like the D of the past 7 8 weeks now

We have to play a full 4 quarters on offense and defense against calgary.

LeFevour just couldn't win it for the Argos..although he certainly tried.
The Argos had a pretty good game plan for LeFevour.
Bombers 2-1 in sacks
(Hope Sheppard is OK.)
Ho hum, Flanders does it right! 19-102 yards!
Nichols started slow, but gradually realized we'd kill him if he continued playing shoddy football.
Hello, Justin Medlock. Welcome back to perfect FG kicking country.
Make no mistake about it, it was a total team effort.

The only thing the Bombers didn't do right...was throw a pass to Richards.
The boys are having fun.
Special teams provides the backbone to this team, and that totally makes sense.

46 POINTS!!

I've said it a few times but the depth on this team is amazing. Essentially playing a back up QB (although you could argue he should have been starter on day one but let's not argue) we have had back up DBs, Safties, MLBs, WR, SB, RB, most of the oline and yet continue to win games. Love it.
