As much as im enjoying the riders turmoil, im a little torn who i want to win this one. with the way the bombers are playing suddenly i dont want the the stamps running away with first

Conspiracy against them? The refs did everything in their power to hand Regina a touchdown at the end of the first half with three extremely questionable penalties. Calgary receivers did their best to not catch, Cal defenders dropped easy picks. The only folks to blame for the Riders loss are themselves.

Why would the Riders mean more to every person employed in the CFL?  The CFLs cash cow is the TSN contract.  The Riders don't share their profits with the league.

The sense of entitlement from the fans of "Canada's team" is unreal.  The lack of respect their organisation showed to the league is what is an embarrassment.  You are not entitled to cheat because you are the Riders.

As Rich said, the TSN deal is the huge league economic driver. Pretty sure TSN can see the ratings by market and am pretty sure that if they didn't get numbers in BC, Alberta and Ontario (especially), the deal wouldn't be as large or exist at all.

Serious question, if they find out that the Riders are paying guys under the table, isn't that a Canadian Labour Code violation? Doesn't that warrant the revocation of a work visa?

Wow...that Rod Pederson is a real ******.  The guys in the media and acts like he's 8 years old and someone just took away his ice cream.  

He was on Calgary radio last week calling BLM a "Punk" and that he'll  get what's coming to him.   Hmmmmmmmmmm, where have we heard that before?

In theory yes. Athletes on work visa tend to get an awful lot of lee way though.

 Taxes also dont have the be paid till the end of the year, as long as the gov't gets its money at some point theyll be appeased.

mmm possible again but i doubt it. Weve seen some awful incidents with american athletes who are allowed to continue playing here when an regular person would have had the work visa removed. The way things are going for him he's going into the mike kelly zone any way.

Rich, don't you know that every time the Riders play in an opposing team's stadium the attendance increases by 15,000?  Without all those Rider fans all 8 other teams would lose millions at the gate.
