I'd have rolled the dice with streveler and brown personally but might not have been an option. Feel better letting brown go assuming we keep streveler anyway. Collaros has a year or two left IMO before he needs to be replaced.
But if you had rolled the dice and it hadn't worked the price would be seeing an unnamed poster bemoan your poor roster management every day until the end of time. Is it worth the risk?

I can only imagine why he would get tired of you asking him why he sucks and blocking you.
I once went on Twitter to ***** about lapo when we hired him for the xth time.... But couldn't because he blocked me for bitching about him the previous time he was with the team.

Do you know how many fumbles he’s had this year?

I read it and i will say it, dynasty. No matter what happens this Grey cup we have now played in 4 Grey Cups in a row, that my friends is a dynasty. This team is special lets enjoy it while we can. There was a song included in the Oilers 80s dynasty video that sang " this is a time to remember cause it will not last forever" thanks big blue for another trip to the Grey Cup! 😊
In my twenties, the bombers lost everything. Every game in Regina. I repeat we didn't win a game in Regina when I was in my twenties. That **** hurts. We lost multiple grey cups. Saw Stegall retire without a ring. 6 different head coaches. No hope in sight.
In my thirties, one head coach. 4 consecutive grey cup appearances, hopefully 3 wins after next weekend. Wins in Regina.
100% this is special and it's been a hell of a ride that isn't over yet

It's weird how I dislike BLM so much as a player, but really like him as an analyst.
Do you like him like him as an analyst, or do you like him how I like lapo as an analyst, which is mainly because it means he's not on the bombers sidelines

I don't come on here nearly as much as I used to because I find the negativity crazy. I just wanted to pop in on a bye week to remind everyone we're the only team in the league with a winning record the last 4 seasons. 3 grey cup appearances and 2 wins in the last 3.
It's ok to just enjoy the ride despite the flaws. We had years on end of awful teams and coaches to complain about.
Despite not being perfect, since 2019 this is the best franchise in the CFL. A few years ago it was a dream just to see a grey cup win, the idea that Winnipeg would become the top team in the league for years, unheard of. Enjoy it. Enjoy Saskatchewan losing every game. Enjoy Calgary trying to just scrape into the playoffs.
Just enjoy it

I'm really late to this thread, but did it really open by saying 23/26 is identical to 6/9?
In that case if legs was 0/3 he'd still be identical to someone who is 97/100.....

They announced the change to fighting hawks in 2015 but officially switched in 2017. This is my hometown team! There are actually 5 guys currently in the CFL from UND, which is why I started watching. We have 2 of them: Olivera and Holm. Green and white forever, baby.
Green and White forever is fighting words around these parts

Castillo wasn't particularly good for Edm. Leggs had a pretty good year for us overall. He is FAR down the list of problems in the GC game. People are just dumb and can't see more than the simple things.
Living in Edmonton I get a number of people asking me about our chances as playoffs approached. Going into playoffs this year my answer was if we need to rely on the kicker I'm not confident.
The entire team didn't play well enough to win yesterday so I can't pin it on any one player, but at the same time I'm surprised when we make a field goal instead of being surprised when we miss.

If we are worried about what happened in 1950 we are at an incomprehensible level of trying to find things to worry about.

I hate the Argos - but much respect to Argo fans, it isn’t easy to be one there
Don't you mean it isn't easy to be the one fan there?

Folks around here told me that HC's should get 3 years to make the playoffs if they inherit a bad team or maybe that's just MOS after applying 20-20 hindsight.
Bit of a difference between a relatively rookie coach and a career underachiever like lapo

This site always makes me feel better after a loss because it's a good reminder many of you don't deserve a good team.

Yeah... liking that Agudosi...happy for him...and yeah him and Janrion seem tight....and Janrion is a lil beast...he needs more touches
He looked like what we've hoped every 6'6 receiver we've brought in over the years would be.

Very true Booch. Unfortunately the one area no team can really boast about depth is at QB. What would have happened if Zach had gone down in week 4 for an extended period of time? Would we still have kept rolling? I don't know. I just hope that the Mafia look at ways for us to get better depth at that position in the off season.
Isn't bitching about qb depth a pleasant change from bitching about not having a QB? We've been a have not in terms of starting QB for so long it's nice to have our qb problem be the backup

I just caught that video of Stanley, there's nothing in his locker room interview that even hinted at retirement. I think Harris is the one that would make sense to retire,I know he's close to 10000 but back to back grey Cup victories for your home town team is a way to ride off.
Growing up in Manitoba I my personal top two ways to retire would be A) winning the cup at home, winning the cup in Regina. I hope Harris has one more year to go in and try win it all in front of the fans who hate us the most

Dave just needs to get his Anti Lapo rants in wherever he can.......
I approve all anti lapo posts/rants/comments. I tried to rant at lapo on Twitter a few years ago and discovered I couldn't because I was blocked....... So I must have ranted at him on Twitter during his previous stint........
