blueingreenland got a reaction from Noeller in 2023/2024 Blue Bombers Off-Season Thread (BRADY’S BACK! DALTON’S BACK!)
I'd say one of the top GM's in Bomber history for sure...I'm sure glad we re-signed him!!

Not possible cuz O'Day must have pictures on someone to have received an extension for failing miserably, but the Riders needed to kick O'Day to the curb, demolish the whole system and build new. Craig Dickenson was the least of their worries.
Yuk.

Never have I completed a purchase for Bomber tickets so angrily as 5 minutes ago. If they lose to the Elks I am going to fling myself from top of the nearest Shawarma Khan.

Nope...too bad we don't utilize the rule where he needn't need be
As dissapointing as that was...meh...long season and lots of time to correct a few minor things...some of which are coaching...some are player wise...but not as bad as many make it out to be.
An unfortunate and Brady fumble...a fluke and lucky pick 6 against...this is being discussed as an ugly win...B.C ain't gonna run away with the west...and I'd bet my left nut after our game coming out of the bye we have same record as B.C.....ace in hole for us is we have some impact guys coming back...we know our coaches are better than what they have shown...and this team has the mental makeup and experience to right things come late Oct..going into Nov...no need to panic but some subtle changes are in order...pronto..this bye week is perfect timing and I expect some changes after the break

I think you’re on to something here. I would include coaching as well.

I'm mad right now. No killer instinct on this offense. Good first half. Didn't show up in the 2nd. A Dieter Brock, Tom Clements led team would have destroyed a depleted Ottawa lineup with a 40 or 50 point output. Inexcusable!

Take all of the Elks losses this year, that game right there was the most embarrassing loss of the year.

Jeezus, that was 39 years ago. Brock said in his book that he was wrong & wished he had stayed in Winnipeg. As a fan, I have no ill will towards Brock at all. Also, he played in an era where the Eskimos had the greatest run in CFL history winning 5 Grey Cups in a row. We were very good as a team but they always were a little better.

Every communist government in history has turned into a dictatorship.

Context is everything. His admiration was not unqualified and was directed at how quickly an economy could be redirected under a dictatorial system.

For the record, China is NOT a socialist or communist government. It is a dictatorship run by the rich and powerful. And please supply a citation for Trudeau's admiration for China.

Justin has stated many times that he admires China. He clearly leans left on the political scale. His Dad was a fan of socialism. I'm not shocked he tried to grab some dictatorial powers.

"Today WHO declared the coronavirus COVID-19 a “pandemic” – when there is not the slightest trace of a pandemic. A pandemic might be the condition, when the death to infection rate reaches more than 12%. In Europe, the death rate is about 0.4%, or less. Except for Italy which is a special case, where the peak of the death rate was 6% (see below for further analysis). China, where the death rate peaked only a few weeks ago at about 3%, is back to 0.7% – and rapidly declining ..."
