he is a stud....had a string of games/snaps where he didnt allow a sack or a penalty...was a phenomenal amount...off top my head cant recall

WhatI do know is has good feet and athleticism for a big guy...likes to get in second level on runs and cause havoc too....could be the replacement....also has experience at guard too

sounds good .....had to search a bit bout' his age ....Born in 99' ...so 25....lots of future there

Just took a look at this. Not much info about him other than 6-6 and 315lbs....gotta laugh outta his DOB

the info. on the guy is just overwhelming  .....so hard to follow ....    NOT

.....Guess when someone says about him....were you born yesterday....looking at that DOB they'd be right.....LOL.....Would be nice to hear more about the guy

  3. Miller will have his work cut out for him...BUT if anyone can get it done he can....Hansen when he was healthy was one of the best ....he will be replaced....Haven't heard anything on Bailey or BOLO.....Castillo is close and should be back ....Grey is interesting ....thought he'd be re-signed by now or picked up by someone...Lot's of fa's still out there

  4. Ken Ploen and Bud Grant will always be synonymous for me growing up....They built the Bombers into one of the geatest teams that Winnipeg has ever seen....I will always remember the Cup wins, and the successful seasons Kenny quarterbacked us to, in the sixties...He was a class act and one of the greatest ever to grace Wpg. with his football acumen and his off field demeanour.....A part of this city's football lore that won't be forgotten   R.I.P Kenny and condolences to his family

I for one would not be opposed in the lest to signing Sewell to a one yr deal in the middle while we groom 2025 replacement on the fly....and would love Kongbo as that Canadian depth/rotation guy....and like I mentioned...Sewell could come in with the jumbo package as he has done that for yrs and would move bodies better than Mr Seal....

    I agree with that move

I agree with that move.....The kinda move we shoulda/coulda made with the lemonater last year, that worked out well for the Als.

True, I would say for at least half the players coming out of US Colleges, a degree in football is the only thing they graduated with, and they haven't prepared well for any other reality.

The standard of education down south is ...let's say wanting...I don't now how some of those guys coming out of college, would make it any other way in the working world, besides football....It's bewildering to know that some of them who can't even spell 'is' ,  have to look for a life after professional sport in some capacity...and if you're not a star making big bucks, that's scary

You keep saying we wouldn't have parted with him as if every player move is made in isolation. It's not. He got a big payday somewhere else that we would not match because guys like Schoen and Brady were higher priority to bring back, and our depth at that position group allowed us to not have to give him a big pay day. There is a big difference between not making a guy one of the highest paid players in his position group in the league, to us not valuing him. We just didn't value him as highly as another teams was willing to do so because we had bigger fish to retain.

Look ....maybe we didn't want to match his ask.....and his measurabilities as a player didn't measure up....In any event he moved on .....his choice orrrr the million dollar question....when it came down to it .....was it our choice

Guys I’d like to see “re-signed”😁

    WR/KR Janarion Grant
    K Sergio Castillo
    LB Malik Clements

    and possibly Hansen …

Also, any unexpected signing shockers (particularly for the Bombers, but also league wide) that anyone here can predict for today?

Definitely Castillo and Clements......Janarion is going to see IF he can get more and most likely re-up with us ....Hansen ??????

Yes, and was absolutely torched over and over again throughout the year and picked on repeatedly in the Grey Cup. Just because a guy catches a few 50/50 balls doesnt mean he's good. You dont think its somewhat telling that the Bombers didnt try to bring him back??

A couple of timely pics does not an exceptional DB make.....We would not have parted with him IF we thought he had value down the road.....end of

Yeah, I'd posted about this show they're doing last week... I'm super pumped for it. Actually have most of tomorrow off, so I'm down for some FA excitement. Gonna be a time. And yes, while I abhor multiple needless threads, one for FA probably wouldn't hurt. Do we need a Bombers one and a non-Bombers one? Or just throw it all in the blender?

Prefer separate one's.....easier to follow....Hope there's a lot of action on our part
