I hear you. I just retired in May and turned 80 in July so just enjoying the retirement and while I will always watch every Bomber game I can , and make sure I catch them here in Calgary and when they travel to Edmonton - if they lose I seem to be able to move on rather quickly these days. In the past I took the losses much harder than I do today - After all Life Does Go On! And given I am also a Chicago Bear Fan - I have much more to fret about!😁

.......I just turned 80 on June 29th......us boomers are getting a little long in the tooth...BUT I think hanging around on this site helps keep me youthful....Seen many cycles of ups and downs with the BigBlue ....As  far as the wins and losses column ...it sure as heck great when we win ...when we lose I get a little dejected but recover quickly and hope to see some light at the end of the tunnel the next game....and just keep on keepin on

  2. Not easy parting way with a personality like Streve...His rah rah stuff is infectious and it has it's place on the club BUT I along with a lot of other fans are always hoping to see something better in his play..Is he still capable of being the player he was??? So far it hasn't materialized and we're in a state with this club right now that patience is wearing thin...The team around Chris in general isn't near the quality as it was in the 'fur coat days' so there's that ...I say he still gets a shot to prove his worth to the team....what the hell else have we got to lose BUT for cripes sake if he has another game, like the last one, it's time to play Wilson... IF Zack can't go that's the only option...I keep pulling for Streve and we all know 'hope' springs eternal

What would you have him do in game out of curiousity?

Well here's one ....how about replacing the starting qb who was faltering badly and just trrrry inserting the backup in that game ....Change of pace could have done a lot....but standing there and watching your team struggle, with no plan, if Streve wasn't getting it done. was pathetic

  4. Let's not try to sugar coat the non-signing of Kenny Lawler....it was a BIG mistake , considering what we replaced him with ..This was/is a Cup year in the city....we should have gone all out to at least have a respectable year...What we're having now is far off Bomber standards....IF it's true that we sand bagged Lawlers attempt to look at his future after football....well I only have one word for that ...facking deplorable....oooops sorry that's 2 words

then we should mesh well as basically I do too....Ratio would be changed...players to facilitate it would be targeted....no position would be penciled in pre-camp save for maybe BO but even then if we un-earthed a Mike Pringle we'd be seeing a lot of 2 back sets and BO used in slot

Loyalty would be shown to the team....not the player as well.....Thats the world I came from...You underperform....you're out

That's the type of ballsy attitude I'd like to see running the players......Booch you're hired

  6. So what the hell has happened to our fa returner Logan...Why on earth did we sign the guy....for that matter why did we bring in Mitchell?? Just bull$hit moves ...There has to be some serious questions about offseason moves ....letting talent walk and bringing in duds...Where the hell is the accountability

  7. I have lost faith in our quarterbacking...Streve still has some positives but the injury he suffered and is still recovering from (hence the lack of running) is definitely hurting his game....so much so that he seems to have lost confidence in himself...Will we see Zack back....big question mark?? Milt has a piece saying he should hang them up NOW....That could leave us in the position of putting Wilson behind centre...IF Streve can't get it done....Looks like we may be behind the eight ball for the rest of the year...and a good time to sort this club out and keep what we're going to go with next year and dump the also rans....

  8. CLEAN HOUSE....it's a short ride to the bottom and that's where we are headed....All of, or most of the warts this club has, was clearly evident in that stinker....I have to give credit to the guys who are still trying to keep this club credible and that's just a few....Cripes even Sergio crapped the bed and that's the clue that some players are starting to see the writing on the wall...I expect that will or most likely be the last full house we'll see in awhile .....most likely have one in the Cup game....you know the game we aren't going to be in..I think Osh better be preparing for his exit along with the gm

He may be injury prone but I wish that the staff (coaches and medics) would let him heal properly. This is what....two years in a row where they most likely put him back in too early.

....Pushing a player to return when he's not fully recovered from his injury, is just a plain bull$hit move....I realize we're in tough in the receiving corps BUT obviously it was an egregious move IF it is the same injury he was sidelined with...

vaval has been better much of the year than grant in both pr and kr. he had a couple games with rookie brain, and a bobble or two but grant hasn’t been healthy the whole year and has had struggles him self with handles.

Grant looked pretty solid today...and Vaval has sort of disappeared....However I'll give you the age factor and Vaval has that and the future here....I'll also admit he's a damn good football player and plays better at defensive back than Grant played on offence

Grant's been pretty quiet.  They have the same amount of turnovers too which was always a big issue for Grant.  Had some big playoff returns for us but also handed multiple scores to other teams with muffed punts and fumbles.  So his net effect was never as gaudy as his stats.  If he could hold onto the ball he'd be in year 8 of his NFL career.

...watched a few TO games this season and it looked to me he was pretty solid....Took one return back setting them up for a td today....he seems to just keep on truck'n

calgary replaced something like 24 players from last year. We picking up elks and stamps cast offs and thinking we gonna get better lol.

the superstars we should be playing are playing elsewhere.....firstly we should have never let Kenny walk....just look what he's doing in Ham....Janarion Grant was another one ...We don't have a returner as far as I'm concerned  ...We should have rid ourselves of Thomas and used a rook, then used the cash to keep one of them AND what was wrong with keeping Biggie around and be a mentor for our guys, instead of helping the team who has buried us in 2 games this season...This club is astonishing me with blunder after blunder.....then we wonder why we're in the position we're  in now

O’Shea is starting to finally feel some heat. And he’s cracking. His time is coming to an end here. So is Kyle’s.

and you can see why.....poor roster management and in this last particular game, how do we take a 'too many men' at a critical time of the game and another 'no end' call...Just bull$hit penalties that shouldn't happen and cost us..This game was winable BUT in a close game like that was, taking dumb penalties are costly ...  and they were
