So if Brady is mad.....be mad and I hope he places that anger, whenever he gets the rock, right at the Leo's D line''''in other words punish the buggers ...When he gets rolling it's like trying to stop a bull ,who's looking for something to take apart.....I think we need that to snap out of the doldrums on offence....Take it to them and don't let upand who knows we might come away with the 2 pts.....GOBIGBLUE

Not knowing the extent of his injury, why not rehab him till he's as close to 100% as possible before dressing him? Or maybe he is and they just want to bring him back slowly (i.e., game speed conditioning)?
easing him in and if Augustine is getting stuffed we'll most likely see him sooner rather than later

I was gonna say earlier....when was the last time we saw some unique play and or strategy....a fake of any kind.....a big gamble....When have we ever gone for 2 points...and be adept at that in case a time comes when we need to?....We have basically had things in aut-pilot for some time now
Very Vanilla....you're right....Seems something out of the ordinary is too daring for the club....Nothing like catching the opposition napping and pulling off a long gainer ....We have the perfect guy to pull something like that off ....his name is Chris.....I say when the chips are down do something sneaky and innovative....or is that now beyond us

We knew after the Cup there had to be changes.....and I said at the time 'deep ones'.....That's what true dynastys do ....to stay relevant at least ....We look like we're headed for uncharted waters now.....something we haven't seen in the last few years....We have parted ways with a few who were 'long in the tooth'....Jeffcoat being one of them, but guys like Thomas still hanging around paint a different picture....The amount of talent brought in was actually very good, in a lot of spots, but not retaining more than we did is looking like we wanted to remain status quo for the most part....Certainly there's the sms to consider and was the reason for a lot of the departures BUT we didn't go deep enough in a few positions....I think bringing in Streve was the right move considering the apparent decline of our starter....otherwise we remained status quo ...There's the few draft pics that look heartening but other than that we sure didn't do anything exciting....I hope when the friggin' injury bug buggers off we can gain some respectability.....otherwise I don't like what I'm seeing

Love smith back hope he’s good to go. Really strange to cut him if he’s healthy already though.
fayad is a strange pick. Why not rivers or even upshaw? Wasn’t fayad an early cut too? How do we not bring back rosery still lol.Sometimes it looks like we don't know what the hell we're doing and now are just retreading it......Certainly there was better talent cut but the guy running the show has gone brain-dead

Edm was in the game until 2 minutes left. Way better than we did against Mtl a week earlier.
It's a bloody disgrace that we look worse than the elks....I guess the easy out for Osh will be all of the injuries piling up BUT we haven't looked ready since day one in 24'

He was dating Princess Diana before she died..
wasn't Fayad in the car with her and also bit it.......seems to me
Anyway, I don't remember this guy at all in tc....Smith had a nice return for a td and seems to know what he's doing in the return game....AND I hope to hell we bring in Oakman for the D line......it's a mess
-
Worthy is ....well, worthy of a shot (sorry about that one) AND Oakman is out there....Considering the injuries we're experiencing on the D line I wonder if we will give either guy a call......................................not likely, most likely

The least upset person in the blue n gold world about all of this seems to be mos.
I wonder when Wade will have a sit down with him.....Let's see....we lost the Cup....then 2preseasoners ....and now 2 reg. season games.... and I don't see a win next week in BC.....Does OSH blame it all on injuries if the losing streak continues????or does it go deeper

Dedmon is elite.
He is and there's got to be someone else who can do the job on this club.....Ford is one but do you risk a pretty good db's health on that grinder position?? I think we better start beating the bushes for one that is at least adequate

The old adage is that special teams are a sign of your depth... well I'd agree. Our depth has taken a massive hit the last few years for a variety of reasons and teams have been poor. Not a coincidence in my opinion.
And talking about special teams.....who is the returner in Ottawa...Mitchell

I've never seen Neufeld put in a crappier performance than I saw last night....He was worse than a pylon.....stepping aside and letting the opposition take a free run at your qb. has 'see ya later nuef' written all over it....I know guys can have off games but that was a disgrace....O'Shea better have an answer for that for the next game or we might see our qb. on the six game........ next
-
I don't know what we're concocting in the rain delay but it better be a td to win this thing....How we can look so bad on the o line, which was one of our solid units, is bewildering....Zack hasn't been on his game for a lot of the time but he's getting no protection on a lot of the RB pressures.....Wheatfall has delivered ...too bad we didn't have more from the D.....which has looked very porus....Hopefully we can pull this one out

Is Oakman still available?
Wouldn't matter....we have a definite affliction in picking up the phone and calling available players......see returners sitting and doing nothing

This is not a club anymore .....this is pathetic and O'S hea should hang his head in shame for fielding this crap.....so far I don't see a team

That'd be gravy for sure. All I want him to do is 1, catch every ball possible in the air. 2, dont signal for a fair catch lol. 3, dont hesitate when he catches it or when he gets to the point of first contact, just go. 4, don't fumble or do any thing stupid. If he does all that and gets just 5 yards per punt return and 20 yards per kick off, that's good. 10 yards per punt and 30 per kick off isn't worth it if the ball is bouncing around etc.
No 1...just secure the ball ........No 2 IF he see's something forming in front of him, get behind it and see what develops BUT above all SECURE THE BALL....I'll give him a break on the one he coughed up agaist the Als.....Chalk it up to lack of experience....He can't do that in this one

And talking about special teams........Mitchell being the returner in Ottawa doesn't thrill me....I hope he at least secures the ball and doesn't give RB'S a freebee in our end and does more than usual ' go for five and flop'...It irks the hell out of me knowing there's competent returner(s) out there and we're not making an attempt to bring anyone else in ....

Same. He looks and plays a lot like Kenny Lawler. We need someone to step up in a big way and I think it could be him.
Definitely need someone to step up and he'll be a very interesting watch tomorrow..........

Why would I be upset about a coach who thinks highly of a quarterback that helped him win back to back Grey Cups, helped lead a team to 4 in a row and will be an integral reason the coach will cement himself as the all time leader in wins by a Bomber coach?
He might have had success and we have looked good in winning two Cups....but the way things look right now he's not going to top Bud's record....He ain't no Grant

Injuries are starting to mount and costing this club big time....IF Ottawa lays a beating on us it's time to press the panic button ....The team looks like it's losing it's way and I hope I'm wrong but the coach also looks like he's lost....

Here's a list of vets who lost their spots in the off-season.
Gray
Bailey
Rose
Grant
Jeffcoat
Clements
Funny thing is with the exception of Rose none lost their jobs directly to better players.
Bailey was a money issue....not because of competition for his spot....Could've been the same thing with Janarion....Rose and Jeffcoat were done.....Gray is still hanging around

this Bomber defence is ....simply put CRAP.....We seemed toget the O going BUT shite the bed on D........Injuries to the D.... seem to have scuttled this attempt at a win ....How can you be considered to be a professional team when you field a bunch of junk like that defence .....Looking at a very looooong year guys.....and unacceptable
