I know the Harris snubbing has been beaten to death, but what is Simone Lawrence doing on there. He served a suspension and fined for a nasty headshot. Is that the type of player we call outstanding? That to me is the opposite of outstanding and negates anything positive he does on the field.  So play as dirty as you like, but be extra careful what you ingest!
I think for clarity, the league should make players ineligible for awards if they are suspended for any reason.

Has anyone commented on how hilarious it is that the Packers pulled ALL their starters because of that tiny bump a couple yards from the back of the end zone - If you think about it with common sense for a moment, there is a like a 0% change that virtually any player who is not a receiver or DB is going to find themself on that piece of the field in a game.
And they just scrapped kickoffs completely! Any kick that goes that far into the end zone is going to be a touchback anyways. And if the returner wants to run it out, he's not going to be cutting and dodging tacklers 8 yards deep in the end zone.
So the only redeeming thing about the whole pointless game - that Packer fans get to see Aaron Rodgers and whoever else they have who is good - was scrapped because NFL coaches are paranoid, insane, control freaks.  As bad as the whole production is, I don't think we should let the NFL team management off the hook either.

If he gets suspended, won't he just appeal and have it overturned, like what always happens?  Or has something changed?

Yep, all he had to do was appeal it, play in the Grey Cup, and let the league screw the pooch over the offseason and all he gets is a half-game check fine. LOL.  I love the CFL, but in things like this, it really is a joke.

If that is the same plant that I am thinking of, it got into financial trouble a few years back. Apparently, business was so bad, the owners started packing pure fat into one end of the sausages to cut costs. Happily, things improved so that they could make both ends meat.

The CFL can be so bizarre. 2 weeks before the draft they just randomly give the Argos and Als a couple extra draft picks.
If the point is to get more players playing in their home city, why is it just for the two worst teams?
