Odds of getting hit by a bus vs odds of getting hurt playing football when you've already suffered significant injuries playing the sport...........seriously. I'm not arguing one way or another, but get a better argument than that.

Calgary - Don't see them letting Messam go, McDaniel maybe but I think they dip into FA for a slotback - maybe Arceneaux...?  I think Nik Lewis is a surprise signing - another good year: 12-6; team gets blown up if there's no grey cup 
Edmonton - I don't see them as 'next in line' - I think Maas et al overthink their way through the off-season and let some key pieces walk; Gable comes returns to average; Benevides too; run into kicker troubles in the season - 9-9 record; 
Winnipeg - Hurl finally walks; re-sign everyone for consistency including Medlock; maybe Nevis leaves - Hall replaced by Mark Nelson; Ernest Jackson is the big splash; another hard working year - 11-7
Saskatchewan - everyone comes back down to earth; Collaros is the big signing but Riders lose a couple receivers - maybe to Ottawa or Winnipeg; defence wins games - 9-9
BC - Wally finally walks but is replaced within - maybe ugh Bellefuile; rebuilding year with Jennings still at helm; OL still a major problem - last in west 6-12
Toronto - Ray retires replaced by... Trevor Harris!!!; team stays in mostly together; LH falls off - 10-8 record with a lot of 1-3 point games
Ottawa - Desjardins shocks the world and wins the James Franklin sweepstakes...  but team is still slim on receivers; Noel Thorpe new DC - 9-9
Hamilton - Durant and Austin reunited... Durant injured in game four; Masoli runs with a rebuilding team 7-11
Montreal - Tommy Condell announced new head coach; Kavis misses out on QB sweepstakes - but don't worry Mack has a plan... he knows a guy who saw a sharp young QB somewhere down south - tall guy, real good at running the wildcat - 4-14

For 400ish grand a year to play a game you'd have to change the locks to keep me out of there. I'm guessing he plays

At the end of the day, football is an entertainment business.  Throughout the season, I was thoroughly entertained by the Bombers.  I think there were maybe 2 games this season where I felt that I didn't get my money's worth (and although they lost in the WSF, it was an entertaining game).  I want nothing more than to have the Bombers win a cup, but at the end of the day as a season ticket holder, I put more value on being entertained week in and week out rather than whether they have won a playoff game or not.

It was nice to see Edmonton lose last night (ongoing rivalry I have here) but man I don't enjoy Jake Eichel's play. He floats around, just doesn't seem like a team player to me. Him and Kane must get a long just fine.
I know he's young and can still grow into a leader but I think Buffalo pulled the trigger way to early on that contract of his (eight year 80 million).

Idk about the burbs being better for attendance... maybe? If you chose one direction and put it there (like, North probably because if you went East or West you'd be de facto losing every fan from the other side of the GTA) and built a strong local following... I could see it working... but then it wouldn't feel like the Argos. I love sitting outside down by the lake and seeing the glass skyscrapers and concrete canyons and the CN all lit up. I think that for Bay Street's sake, it has to remain a "Toronto" team regardless of consequences.

Not sure why you want to harp on Bluto so hard about this.  As far as fans from other teams posting here, Bluto has always been one of the better ones and any back and forth has been IMO friendly banter on his part.
And as far as support of the Argos go, why criticize Bluto about it when he is a Torontonian who actually supports the team.
I have no time for trolls and people who come here for that sole purpose, but this board could be a better place if there was more commentary and opinions from fans of other teams.  Their perspective can be interesting at times.

Not precisely the sort of thing that I would have wished for on the august occasion of my 1000th post, but there we are.
And piggybacking on that, I'd like to say a quick thanks to the ownership and management of MBB for establishing and keeping a good thing going. It is with no small amount of pride that I (as a Morning Big Blue OG) look back on the small role that I played in bringing the events to bear that launched this site and torpedoed that other POS.

You just can't make this **** up....priceless free entertainment.
