HH to me for this:
Screw the riders and their arrogant fanbase. It couldn't have happened to a better group of rabbling knowledgeless inbreds.
Enjoy your one horse towns with nothing of any interest to do or see. You're in for a long life of Ukrainian dance contests and WHL for entertainment.
Oh and by the way, canada agrees that sask is the worst place in the nation:

They need to be worried about Sask running up a big score in the 1st Quarter again, not whether they are going to come out on an emotional high. That was not a fluke that it got out of control so early last game, and for this game to be close in any way, it will take everything Bombers have to prevent that from happening again. Have to avoid giving up any big explosion plays within the first 15 minutes, and Nichols has to be ready to throw the ball away and take some sacks rather than let Sask get a few INTs in the first 15.
KG will put up big numbers, but you have to keep them from getting easy ones. If they do that, maybe LaPo and Nichols can utilize that "Nickle and Dime" offence to squeak out a close win.
Honest question: are you a bomber fan?

Does not really matter - Looks like Holly will be in for Demski and give them yet more weapons against the Richie Hall Bend Bend and then Break Defense. I think the change actually makes the Riders stronger.
It doesn't matter that they're missing their best RB and a pretty good Canadian that had a 90 yard return on us? Okay then..

Gray is at least another year away from joining the Bombers.
Not the worst thing though, it's not a glaring position of need yet. If Bond boogies to the NFL then it could become a problem.

Usually I instantly fly off the handle and berate everything bombers. Every player, all levels of management, coaches etc.. this time I took a couple hours for a break.
Overall, we had a stinker game. Nichols sucked for 3/4 of it, special teams sucked, receivers obviously didn't get open, and just countless breakdowns on defense putting us in a hole that was pretty much impossible to climb out of.
For once, though, I'm not predicting our imminent demise. We were bound to fall back to reality. We're 7-3. We can expect our D to tighten up next game, we can expect more shots down field next game, we can expect improvements on specials.
This is what we needed: a smack in the mouth to get our $hit together and I think we can expect o'shea to get the boys together

There are insufferable bomber fans on forums, there are insufferable rider fans as well. My biggest issue with Rider fans is their insistence on wearing their Rider gear to non CFL events or non Rider games.
I wear a bomber jersey when I go to a bomber game. In September I'm going to an Argos/Ticats game, and I will not be wearing a bomber jersey, but I expect to see Rider jerseys. I went to an NHL game in Ottawa, lots of red and white in the stands, and a few clowns in green.
This times 10000. Every major city with an NHL team has the sense to not do it but little brother can't figure it out

Glenn has a quick release so that 2 yard cushion we give every receiver isn't going to work. Those receivers will eat out our lunch with 6-7 yard passes

Personally, I'm scared about this game. I just have this feeling that they're going to chew up lots of yards and clock. Sask's defense looks a lot tighter. They really closed up the middle of the field shutting down the run game lately and Harris isn't a big outside runner so interesting matchup.
If they shut down Harris I don't want to see lapo be stubborn and stick with it all game setting up constant second and longs. We can't rely on Harris every single game

If we keep driving away other teams fans we'll turn into riderfans which is just a cesspool. They have more traffic but this place has way more MEANINGFUL discussion. There they just spew nonsense at each other and live in echo chamber of GO rIDERS OMg!!!1!1
Having other teams fans gives good outside perspective on our own team because everyone tends to overvalue their own players/prospects.
We're a better province than them in every way, let's keep it that way

I would imagine lapo would have a hard time pulling out thorpe because he's the exact receiver he likes. A guy that catches the ball and FIGHTS for yac. He's efficient at making the first guy miss, and when he doesn't, he Andrew harris' them and gets extra yards he probably shouldn't have

Difference is I am not claiming the riders are a great team. We are finding our way and getting our feet under us now. You guys are doing the big talking about your team, qb, rb..
The top team in the league has the right to have confidence.

The riders are going to win next week, book it. The question is, can you regroup and win at home? That will be the turning point game of your season.
I agree that the riders win but it's not a turning point for a team with a .777 winning percentage. It has the potential for the riders to be a turning point though

The refs had no effect on the outcome of this one the same way the fake injuries had no effect on our loss.
The better team murdered the lesser one. The end.
The riders are no longer a threat to us so leave them in the rear view mirror where they belong.
