I'll be sold once he actually breaks up a play... until then, closing speed after a 9-10 yard gain is kind of pointless
We have a lot of guys who can hold the other team to a 9-12 yard gain...  

We did have solid halftime adjustments - that was good to see

We did not deserve to win that one but I'll take it

1. Bighill - the plays that guy makes offsets a lot of missed gaps and slow closing by our other LBs
2. Collaros - he's been here long enough that receivers should know how he throws
3. Legghio - mentally tough to come back from that convert and I still really like his punting
HH - Lawler - he deserved that TD...

Are Gauthier and Briggs both out there....??

Lapolice hasn't presided over a great O since 2002.  Beyond all the greatness he needs out of his players to even put an average ball control O on the field he's needed exceptional special teams and defense in terms of field position and scoring.
He's been lucky to have an absolute superstar in terms of performance and durability in Harris in his last stint here.
If we went through all the ST and D scores direct and influenced by short fields in last 4 seasons a lot of shine would come off his resume.
The fact that he ran away from Arbuckle and installed Nichols should end his tenure in Ottawa rapidly.

Well Bombers have made the playoffs... great news.
Took a break from renos to watch five minutes of that game - not sure if insulation dust or Nichols/Lapo is worse... close though.

There were two catch and fumbles - one with Adams and one with White - both would have gone the bombers way... but it was tight - not the worst call I've seen.
Refs didn't cost us this game - Dinwiddie and his team coached a really really nice game.

When its said and done, Toronto is a top 3 team in the CFL this year... maybe #1 - I think we just under-estimated them and couldn't recover.
I will reserve judgement until Harris, Wilson and Demski are back.
