He's an average GM so yes given his mixed results, inability to build NI talent in Winnipeg, inability to find QBs, difficulties finding dbs among other spots, yeah I'd pass.

Taman being buddy buddy with the media has covered up for the fact that he's often been a poor GM.

Regina is a fairly ugly city and to be honest shouldn't be hosting the Grey Cup. When you lack the hotels to put on a major event and people have to room with people in their homes or stay an hour away, you shouldn't be the host. If Khari hired an OC such as Worman or Berry with experience, a DC with experience like Reed, an OL coach with experience who's a teacher hypothetically Wylie would that offset his inexperience and allow him to be successful?

Wasn't saying Jones would come here, was saying I think Chris Jones among others is a better DC than Tim Burke. I think Rick Campbell is a better DC too.

1. Don't think he's the best DC in the CFL. I'd take Chris Jones over him for one. 2. Optics of such a move are brutal. 3. Don't think he has enough credibility in the locker room anymore. 4. Too much potential for conflict.

Optomistic on this one, like his football and business background, hope he lets the GM do their job and doesn't hire a sock puppet.

On a semi-related note, Paul Wiecek of the Freep says he's betting that the Bombers will start next year with Glenn and Collaros behind center. Why would we trade for Glenn if we can land Collaros? Does Wiecek know Glenn is not an FA?
