lol. Much ado about nothing. People just lack humour these days.  Comedy is over. This is comedy.

It's shitty comedy. My daughter doesn't do girl math. She does math. The math that put us on the moon wasn't girl math. It was math that was done by a woman.

There's funny jokes that make fun of people and then there is stupid **** like this that continues stereotypes.

Do you not recognize a football locker room as an extremely rarefied environment that is seldom duplicated within the rest of society?  I would also advise my daughter not to become a prison guard for her own mental and physical well being.  You can wish for a rainbow and unicorn world all you like but that's not yet the current reality, and looking around at the world today, I'm not sure it's even on the distant horizon.

I get your point. Because I struggle with it while raising my kids too. I come from a **** around and find out environment that included lots of violence. So I'm aware of the world we live in vs the world we want.

"I'd like to vote, but that's not the world we live in"

"I'd like to be free but that's not the world we live in."

Etc etc. basically what I'm trying to say is, eventually we need to make the world the way we want it to be. If everyone is stuck waiting for something to change. Nothing ever will.

It's Canada, those big us style awards don't happen.

Argos and Murphy come across looking like real trash in this situation.  Kelly is the least of the problem here. He was a ****** made a pass at a coworker and she felt uncomfortable.  So she complains and gets fired. How's that for a sit down Argo fans? This is the pg version of the reason hockey Canada is in a heap of ****.

I mean if we're to believe what's written in the article......he physically threatened her infront of others...he did more than make a pass.

It's hard for the Bombers to play it fair & square with older players like Jeffcoat when his own teammates didn't care (Oliveira & Schoen) about him either. They stalled the process by waiting until it was FA time in the CFL. At the same time, it's not their responsibility to care. There'll come a time when what happened to Jeffcoat will happen to them.

Can also add in Jeffcoat going to the media and saying he was going to test FA...that's what I don't understand about all of this. Jeffcoat said he was going to FA....did he reach out first and the Bombers just ignored him? Who knows.

Like has been said, it's a shitty part of the business. The Bombers weren't the only team to let him pass, and he won't be the last player this happens to.

Considering the internet has several public articles about Toronto hiring the first woman assistant strength coach for the team,  it was only a 2 second google search to find the answer.

After seeing the pictures of her I would more then likely wager that a narcissist like Chad Kelly would hit on a very beautiful young lady.

I do agree @bluto  that innocent until proven guilty and that she could just be trying to play victim and screw the company and him out of money.  But if I were a betting man ,  I'd feel way more comfortable putting money on this being the truth.

Considering the money she's asking for is not in anyway life changing. I have a hard time buying that she's only doing this for a quick payday.

Since you asked, yeah I think that since this is over $85k FFS, perhaps having a sitdown with the club and holding the big stick of a trial-by-media may have done away with this.

They are an Accuser. Learn the difference.

She should have went to someone high up in the club to get this settled.....someone like....Murphy perhaps.

I've always assumed that lots of players had back room deals with local companies...  I.E.  Take a smaller salary on the books with the club.... meanwhile Adam Bighill gets paid an additional large amount of money from his "part time" job in the city.

Bighill isn't doing a mob job. He puts in the work. I know people who use his services and he's the real deal there.

Manitoba? Sure. The best part about Winnipeg in the summer is how close it is to other places.

I genuinely can’t think of anything I can do in Winnipeg in the summer that isn’t a Bomber game. Go to the Forks for the annual Canada Day machete attack? Ride my bike around, weaving through all the homeless encampments?

I love summers in Winnipeg but it’s not because of Winnipeg. It’s because in two hours or so, I can be at my cabin that isn’t in Winnipeg.

Fort Whyte, ass Park, ass Park forest, living prairie,  multiple trails. Multiple large parks, golf courses that are indoor and out. I take my family to the Forks fairly regularly. Don't get down on a city just cause you're scared.

Are we really arguing that Winnipeg isn’t a dump? I’ve travelled all over North America … I think in terms of individual cities, I’ve been to Phoenix, San Diego, Anaheim, Richmond, Philadelphia, Trenton, Baltimore, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Buffalo, New York City, Orlando, Tampa, Regina, Minneapolis, Grand Forks and Fargo in the past 5-ish years … the only places that are as much of a dump as Winnipeg are Baltimore and Edmonton. Sure, obviously some places were a quick visit. Some places you can chalk the experience up to oblivious innocence where I probably didn’t know any better. But for the most part, there’s a ton more to do/see without half the hassle in these places.

Even Buffalo, which I was expecting to be a total dump … their downtown is quiet with not a lot to do (like ours) but I didn’t get hassled by a homeless person once. There’s stuff to do. Probably the most comparable downtown to Winnipeg, honestly … just cleaner and less disruptive.

I get the experiences won’t match because obviously the sample size is a lot larger in the city I reside in, but this place is a dump. Manitoba? Beautiful. Winnipeg? It’s a dump. It’s my dump, but it’s a dump.

My argument isn't that WPG is some perfect paradise or that it isn't shitty at times. It's that, Winnipeg isn't unique in that aspect. Every city of comparable size is pretty well the same. Maybe with the lack of stabbings lol.

But bigger cities have huge run down areas that are just out of sight unless you are specifically going to that area. They've been able to segregate their ****, Winnipeg will too if it keeps growing (economy/population....not foot print).

I can't remember the specific study, but in the early 2000s....I think....there was a report that came out that said there wasn't a single city of any size in NA that would be able to keep up with the urban decay to come. Some places have done better than others, but every city is facing infrastructure issues that they have no answer for.

To be fair, Zach was bad for longer before we got him. That’s why he’s a good value proposition if he’s reasonably priced.

To be fair, Collaros was a legitimate CFL star for multiple years before his play declined initially.

Wieneke has followed his one successful season with 2 consecutive down years. I'm not saying he's not a CFLer anymore. I'm saying league min would be fair and not a bargain.

Yeah it seems like Jake has fallen off a cliff.....When he was catching everything thrown his way with the Als. and when he left, his game went into the toilet....Hard to figure

His first down year came in an Als uni. He was a deep/red zone threat that teams seem to have figured out....? I don't know. But he has been able to reproduce.

The wheels fell off when ZC was no longer their QB. Yes, Cody took them to 13-5 but a healthy Collaros all season long may have gotten them a Grey Cup and then we all know what Cody did the year after.

I actually think they would have likely been bottom feeders had Collaros stayed healthy. Remember that the way he played there is not the same way he's played here. And from his account, it wasn't his choice.

Fajardo was allowed to run around and scramble and play to his strengths. Collaros wasnt necessarily given that freedom.
