So sign a guy and pay him more then you would pay any other RB on your team, have him play only on the Offense (which right now is working quite effectively) take away a roster spot somewhere else so you can bring in another ST guys and in the end not have enough money to sign a Canadian in a position that you actually need filled..... I see where you are going with this.
 
If this was a Canadian Olinemen or even a Dlinemen that is of actual value right now i'd be all over it.  But we really don't need a one dimension canadian back right now.  Hell Volny can do both jobs and is cheaper and younger,  Both Cal and Sask actually need a RB immediately to fill a void and it's the only reason they are looking at him.  There is a reason no other team touched him until now.

I'm kind of disappointed. He threw for 308 yards in week 1 and only threw for 307 last night.
 
If he throws for 306 next week, I think we should hand the ball to Brohm and see what he can do.
 
Just kidding. The last we had a quarterback throw for 300 yards in back to back games was September 12+19, 2009 with Kevin Glenn.

As I said before. It was one of Walters first big moves. How was he supposed to know if he was about to get better players? If we didn't get better players then Banks would be playing more. Then your argument would be Banks sucks and our scouts can't find better players.

If true and it likely is I don't find this a bad thing. KW signed the first big vet he could and why wouldn't he? He had no idea what players would be brought in or how good they might be. If they trade or release him it just means the guys they brought in were better which means the scouts did their job. I have nothing against banks and if they keep him that's fine. I doubt this was a long term signing from the start.

I predict the following:
Hall gets cut - half the posters get upset because he has CFL exp and can backup Willy if he gets injured and the other half say meh it was expected.
Brohm gets cut - half the posters say he wasn't given a fair chance and looked decent over two games. The other half say he sucked anyways.
Marve gets cut - see above
Willy gets cut - apocalypse strikes and half the Bomber fans go on a mass murder spree the other half say meh he sucked anyways...

It takes me close to an hour each way and no complaints here.  I brought my 5yr old to the preseason and didn't get home until midnight and he still made school the next day  Should be no excuses
