If we had gotten Butler than it would of been a A+ but all things considered I think they did pretty good.

I would highly doubt that Ottawa will get any firm offers. The GMs did not like that draft was so favourable for Ottawa, they have a chance to stick it back to them now. Fully expect them to take advantage of this.

It was hugely ignorant (which is basically a nice way of saying that we hope that Turner doesn't actually believe what he said) and ignorance like that is what creates an environment where certain people are excluded for reasons unrelated to being a good professional football player.  It's the exact kind of crap that was said about different races joining the locker room.

Wiecek is lucky he's covering the Bombers in 2014 and not 1994 with his attitude.  He'd have been long frozen out by the Bombers staff and players, even in 2014 he deserves to be.  Should be interesting to see him spar with a guy like Korey Banks, Wiecek hasn't really dealt with a strong veteran player who will tell him where to go the way a guy like Stegall would.
