  1. Triple H looks most likely. Can't see them putting Reigns over so hard that he goes 1-30, that's a little much. Dark horse candidate for me is Bray Wyatt. They're building up to something there and I'm hoping it's not the rumored Braun Strowman vs Lesnar at WM32...
  2. There is a huge supply of receivers in the States and I believe that almost all of them that find their way up here could be successful in the right circumstances. But its just not that easy. Every receiver in the CFL has just tasted the first defeat of their career, likely, when they got cut from the NFL. So the challenge is finding guys with the right attitude and the mental strength to overcome that without being cocky. And the mental aptitude to adjust to the CFL game. And on top of that, they have to be patient. So how do you quantify all that from watching film and/or a couple camp sessions? Maybe, just maybe, you can have a short conversation with the player himself or one of his coaches but can you learn enough from that? Hell, athletically, all these guys are good enough. But the things that separate the good from the great... That's the tough part. I don't believe it's "easy" at all to recruit for receivers or any other position group for that matter. Because "good enough" doesn't win the Grey Cup.
  3. Everyone knew Rogers was going to the NFL already, signing somewhere was just a matter of time. And when is the last time the Stamps have signed a big free agent? Dressler to Winnipeg isn't a given but I'd be shocked if he landed in Calgary.
  4. Age doesn't matter in the CFL with non guaranteed contracts that are generally only 1-3 years in length. What good is it to sign young players when they can just leave in a year anyways? Give me the better, more established player over the young one with potential any day.
  5. Huge, huge win on the road with an incredibly depleted lineup in a back to back. God bless Hellebuyck!
  6. I respect the opinions of guys like Mackenzie and Dreger but they are wrong just as often as they are right, if not more often. Not that they are lying or blindly speculating but things change on a daily basis behind the scenes. Dreger reports that LA and Kopitar are miles apart and two days later he signs. I understand the difficulty in signing both Buff and Trouba but how much money are we willing to shell out on potential for guys like Scheifele and Lowry? At 20-25 points a season should we be concerned about Lowry at all?? Can't let these young guys bend us over just because we've put some development time into them. There are always new prospects coming up.
  7. Bogus choice. It's not Buff or Trouba, that's just speculation by guys that are certainly not NHL insiders any more than any of us are.
  8. Neal was a real gutless worm out there tonight.
  9. Thank god for Wheeler. He is carrying this team. Sucks to give up the point to Nashville. Season is likely over if Buff is out long term though.
  10. I just don't think it's fair. Because a guy is dominant sometimes, he gets called out for not being dominant ALL the time? It's just not that simple. It's the NHL. Nobody is dominant every night. Even the best of the best have ups and downs. The fact of the matter is that this team would be drastically worse without Buff. He is my favorite player in the league and I'll be devastated if they get rid of him. There is no one else like him.
  11. He's been our best defenceman in all but maybe 5 games this season. Trouba is good one in ten games, Myers is rarely an impact player, and the others aren't even worth mentioning. But for some reason its always Buff taking the heat, hmm I wonder why that is?
  12. Ladd, OK I understand that, but Buff is one of their best night after night, and proving it again tonight.
  13. You've gotta be kidding me with this crap. Listing what each player brings to the table and simply being "a rookie" is enough for the young guys? You're ******* ridiculous man. Total nonsense.
  14. Always liked Dressler, hope he ends up here
  15. McMahon is awwwwwful. I have a better time at Mosaic.
  16. I still don't agree that they are overpriced. There are going to be empty seats in the stadium regardless, but they want those seats to NOT be along the sidelines, so the stadium looks fuller on TV. It's not like the stadium would constantly be sold out with cheaper endzone seats, there just would be more people there and less between the endzones. Pricing this way allows them to shepherd people into the seats they want them in.
  17. After all this time, Severus? Always.
  18. All-time for me only goes back to 1992 or so, lol. Don't remember much before that!
  19. Endzone view isn't bad at IGF... Could be a little cheaper. The real scam are the corner seats in the lower bowl. They should be the cheapest in the stadium in my opinion.
  20. Watching Smackdown and loving the commentary. Mauro Ranallo is great and I believe we are finally seeing the return of Heel Jerry Lawler?!?! I sure hope so. Best heel commentator of all time! Was so sick of nice guy Uncle Jerry.
  21. Yes, my first reaction was that it sets up a US Title match at Royal Rumble between the two of them, where Kalisto will likely win it back. That match couldn't happen if Kalisto hadn't won the title from Del Rio because it would look silly. Now Kalisto has some legitimacy and ADR has built even more real heat as a heel, they can have him refuse to fight Kalisto until RR, and give Kalisto a chance to cut some good promos in the lead up. No, for all the mistakes WWE makes, I don't mind how they are handling this feud. Could see a card of Owens vs Ambrose for the IC, Kalisto vs ADR for the US, and Charlotte vs Becky for the Women's, plus obviously the Rumble itself. Setting up a good PPV! Now let's just hope Lesnar wins the Rumble!
  22. The point of the site is discussion. You are free to have an opinion and everyone else is free to criticize it. If you want to be the riderfans parrot and compare every player you don't like to Shomari Williams, then you're free to do that but don't cry like a ***** when you get called out on it.
  23. I remember him using the "Better Than Perfect" gimmick while in WWE so he didn't totally drop all the Mr Perfect stuff until later. And I believe it is Social Outcast, not Social Injustice, not that it really matters. I don't mind Heath Slater, he is at least decent. It does seem weird to just throw a bunch of nobodies together but I guess the roster is hurting right now. Kinda feel for Ziggler but I would agree that he needs a bit of a revamp. Not sure there's anyone else who has fallen quite as far as he has. He's great in the ring but I've never really liked him on the mic.
  24. Ok expert
