I don't believe it's a double standard at all, truthfully. Iso has very strong opinions. There is nothing wrong with that. But those strong opinions are far more likely to generate strong responses. I hate to pull somebody else into this but I'll give you a guy like TBURGESS as an example. He's another very strongly opinionated person who generates a lot of heated debate, arguments and strong responses. But he is also willing to engage in those heated debates and respond back to those strong responses without getting upset. TB and I have had plenty of heated debates over the years due to difference in strong opinions, but I have a ton of respect for the fact that he's always willing to discuss things without getting emotional about it. There are TONS of strongly opinionated folks around this forum. Tons of ongoing heated debates about a number of discussion points. Tons of people being asked to explain their thoughts or rationale behind what they've said. Tons of opinions that are scrutinized and questioned on a daily basis. There are only a handful of people who seem to get upset about it. Absolutely true. However it's been my observation, and maybe I'm wrong on this, that Iso's opinion routinely gets far more scrutiny than many people's; often it seems like no degree of explanation is enough and that's not fair. Of course you see it more, Iso is the most active poster on the site. More posts means more opportunity for criticism. -
It's not really a rumour when you can see it with your own eyes just by watching the games

You see him playing with the Jets the way he has played in Penticton or last night? I don't. Maurice said they will probably have 4 forwards in the lineup that have never played an NHL game before!!! Ehlers, Armia, Copp and Petan? Wow. No I don't see him playing with the Jets playing the way he is right now. Because he's not ready. You realize there's a development process right? And that the player doesn't look as good at 21 as he will when he's in his prime? That players improve? Do you understand the "draft and develop" model, or do you just hear the "draft" part and forget about develop? Important word there is develop...his game is shite right now. omg. Well this is pointless. Carry on.

Where is there a rich area of St. James? Seems like kind of a wasteland to me... What! You ass! You must be from east of the red river with the rest of the degenerates

If you don't want to defend your opinion then don't. Nothing says you have to respond when someone disagrees with you. But if you are going to post a strong opinion, people are going to respond in kind. That's the way it is and the way it should be. I think people should be mature enough to deal with it when someone says their opinion is bullshit. Either tell us why its not bullshit or leave it and go on with your day. Bullying? Come on. No one is forcing you to be here. -
Wow people are impatient. Kosmachuk is only 21 with one year in the AHL under his belt. No one was expecting him to crack the roster this year. Career AHL'er.... Gimme a break.

I don't mind preseason as I am always excited to see the prospects in action. A lot of these guys, regardless of whether they make the team out of camp or not, are going to make up the core of the team over the next 3 years. Line combos are an interesting talking point and preseason is a perfect time to try out new ones... Eventually guys will switch positions over the course of the season due to injury so it's good to see now how some centres handle playing on the wing or vice versa.

Sure, why not. Whatever. WWE Network and Wrestlemania

Awesome stuff, I've always kinda wondered about that aspect of things. I knew just from watching that wrestlers call spots (how could anyone not hear Cena?) but I wasn't sure if it was more of a reminder for the other wrestler or what. Kinda impressive that these guys can come up with most of it on the fly to be honest. -

TUP here's something I've always wondered. Are matches totally scripted, I mean move by move, or do they kinda freelance other than the finish and a few key moves? -
Mr Walters: What has Ottawa done that you have not?
Atomic replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Why would the Riders even consider that? -
What difference does it make now? Wild is the better player and they were right to make this move.

I think they all are, tonight's is on TSN3 for sure.
-
Bye bye Jasper Simmons
-
Likely line combos to start tonight: Stafford - Scheifele - Wheeler Perreault - Burmi - Ehlers Raffl - Petan - Thorburn Lemieux - Copp - Armia Chiarot - Byfuglien Enstrom - Kichton Stuart - Trouba Hellebuyck starts in goal.

It did look legit. I didn't think he would finish the match to be honest. But good on him for toughing it out... however this is the risk with a guy who is that old. Just far more prone to injury. Yeah, look at Kevin Nash. Blew his quad simply by *walking* in his first match back in WWE. Remember when McMahon tore both his quads entering the ring? -
Patrick Kane Under Investigation - Alleged Rape
Atomic replied to The Unknown Poster's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
It doesn't clear him at all but it certainly makes it far more difficult to convict him. At this point it is simply his word against hers. -

Ric Flair back in the ring?? That's insane and I sincerely hope it doesn't happen.
