Atomic

Yeah it definitely looked and felt like a house show. Nothing of any consequence happened. Swagger barely makes Raw or Smackdown anymore so it's funny to see him on a "special". However even though nothing really happened, there were a couple solid matches. Stardust vs Sami Zayn was entertaining and so was the NXT tag title match. Love Colin Cassady, I think his potential is sky high. Can't wait to see those guys on the main roster. I thought HHH vs Ambrose was a pretty good match too, except for that weird called-off 3 count. That was cheesy as hell! I can't agree with iso's assessment, I thought Ambrose and HHH were both pretty good. One thing I don't like is how overused the sharpshooter was, to no effect. I know they were in Canada but I hate to see such a great move being weakened like that.

Well played

#9 overall and Burmistrov

Felllllaaa!!!!!!

Rasslin is coming back to Winnipeg Saturday May 28 and Y2J is expected on the card. MTS Centre is gonna go wwillllld.

I think he plays a heel well. No one wants to see him as WWE champ ever again but is there anyone as hated as Sheamus right now? That's a good heel to me.

I thought LoN was stupid when they first started out but they are growing on me. Del Rio not so much but Sheamus, Barrett, Rusev work well together. They're funny.

Wish we saw that more from Tyler Myers. Liam Neeson was also good as Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins.

I'm really disappointed that you guys killed the rasslin thread. I just need somewhere to talk about rasslin, not celebrity sex tape weekly. Looks like New Day will be defending the titles at Roadblock against League of Nations. Some of the so-called experts are sure New Day will win. But there are other rumors that New Day will do a face turn soon. So wouldn't it be perfect for them to lose the titles to the hated League of Nations, then have their face turn and go into Wrestlemania trying to win their titles back as the good guys. That would be a great set up.

Checkmate!!

I'd rather take my chances with two top 10 picks than trading up for one in the 2-5 range.

That's too bad about Armia but I'm excited for Kosmachuk. I've really liked his game for the Moose this year. The numbers haven't been that great but he is dangerous with the puck.

Special Teams coach unless O'Shea does that himself. DB's and WR's. Maybe an additional coach somewhere. Paul Charbonneau was assistant OL coach but he's gone now so there could be room for a 'quality control' guy or other assistant somewhere.

RAW is looking good so far tonight.

Kris King, Tie Domi.... Shane Doan lol

Diaz is such a joke. I'm upset

I certainly expect one or two. We need a top 9 forward and preferably a top 4 d-man but I know that one is unlikely. Even after signing Scheifele and Trouba we will still have some cap room to sign a free agent or two.

Thanks

2016-2017 opening night: Ehlers - Little - Wheeler Lucic - Scheifele - Stafford Connor - Perreault - Grabner Dano - Lowry - Thorburn Yandle - Byfuglien Enstrom - Trouba Hamonic - Myers Pavelec Hellebuyck

What site do you gentlemen use for NHL salary information?

Doubt we're going to see a defenceman jump into the lineup right away. We may have a need for LHD right now but in a year or two maybe not. Can't draft based on what we need right now, just take the best player.

Seems that everyone wants us to have an average age of 21 years old next year. Not sure I understand the benefit of having the youngest team in the league. In fact that sounds awful. There are a lot of problems with rushing these kids into the lineup too quickly. Of course I said that all last offseason but everyone was sure we would be better off then too. I think it's something about these young players still being unknowns that make people get their hopes up way too high. It's like this Ladd deal. Sure, we got a good haul for him, but guess what? The Jets are worse today than they were a couple days ago. You can't just keep getting worse and then hope one day we magically get better. When does this team start making moves to improve? Why is it that in the fifth year of the Jets we seem to be embarking on a new "five year plan"?

Mark F made a good point. Mbrg is a positivity bully. Always insulting anyone who doesn't agree with the official Jets/Bombers line. Despicable behaviour really.

Oilers would pay him big money I bet. Or the Blue Jackets.

Yup, no need to argue about it, pretty clear what kind of game he plays when you watch this:
