Didn't Taman leave before that season...?

Mike Kelly Explains Kevin Glenn Cut From 2009
Kelly's largest flaw, by FAR, is as a human being. All the on field stuff is almost forgivable, but who he is as a person....that's what ruined him for me.

Mike Kelly Explains Kevin Glenn Cut From 2009
From Jeff Bannon's FB page, there was a discussion about Kevin Glenn's .700 winning percentage since coming to Calgary. Someone called out Kelly for cutting him, and lo and behold, Kelly showed up and explained himself: Mike Kelly you're welcome Cary! Kevin got himself in shape, lost the braces and became focused again so I'm glad the change of scenery motivated him to improve...now I'm sure you also understand the business side of those decisions too, right? Each year is different and there are a lot of things you simply do not know. Our record from 2009 would be a play-off team this year so it's pretty difficult to give equal measure to different years. 2009 Montreal was 15-3, what are the now? Toronto was 3-15 what are they now? 3 of the last 4 years the Bomber record has been less than 2009 and the lone season it was better they went 3-7 in the last 10 where we won more than we lost after Labor Day...LeFors surgery went well by the way but he has chosen to coach high school football and doing quite well...enjoy the Thanksgiving weekend!!

I guess we'll never know. All we can say is that Coehoorn has done far more than Etienne at this point. As he should, as he's like 5 years older with far more training...

yeah I'm calling bullshit on that one. You want him to flame out so you can crow about how you knew all along he was a bust. ...and he wants that, as he is a Stamps fan...

Bombers add 2 more imports to PR
Anyone with reading comprehension interpreted that interview as Miller saying there's a real good chance Walters stays on as AGM and nothing more, and that Walters is very happy about that. I really think they'll go out and find someone with lots of experience to help groom KW as our "next" guy...

Bombers add 2 more imports to PR
Always trade weight for speed at the DT spot. Doug Brown has always talked about how much weight he had to lose when he came north because he just couldn't run as much as he needed to. This isn't the NFL (thank goodness...)

Bombers add 2 more imports to PR
Relax....they're working on it. Let's get the season over with, so we can move on to the all important offseason/pre-Expansion Draft stuff...

the more I think about it, the more I think the draft picks shoulda been conditional. If Hall bolts for the NFL, then they get the 2nd rounder as a sort of compensation, and we get a 4th, but if he re-signs there, then this REALLY looks silly on our part.....so no draft picks should move...

Sad Fact
Nah, Burke can't wear it all. Some, but not all. More like f-- you Burke, f-- you Joe Mack, f-- you Casey Creehan, and especially f-- you BOD for hiring Burke and Botch Co. Hell, while I'm at it f-- you Lyle Bauer for starting this implosion by hiring your clown shoe of a friend 5 years ago. Go Offseason Go! Your post, in general, is accurate, as Burke certainly doesn't take all the blame....but the bolded part might be the MOST accurate thing of all...

Sad Fact
Can not wait for December 1st, and the off season to officially be in full swing. Let's just move on with prepping for 2014 already...

I'm not totally sure how I feel about all this just yet, but I gotta think that Walters did his diligence and this was the only deal available. If it was the ONLY deal you could make before Weds, then so be it, but I'm not convinced that it'll work out for us. There is a lot of speculation that Neufeld is very injury prone and may not play that much longer. And giving up the 2nd rounder for a 4th is really really dumb.

Rumour: Sask Wants Hall
I'unno.....I was serious...

Matthews and Simpson done for the season
I'm all about the Riders losing...that's all I've got left!!

Rumour: Sask Wants Hall
Willy plus a pick - 2nd round - and this is done and done. Ya, I'd do that...

Rumour: Sask Wants Hall
Durant is big time under fire out there....and Taman is their GM. I don't see it as that far fetched...

Matthews and Simpson done for the season
Next year's roster is gonna look some kinda different....I'll promise you that.
-
Rumour: Sask Wants Hall
I actually agree with this, but no way do I trade Hall for peanuts. I'm not a huge Durant fan, but I think I'd take him and their 1st rounder next year for Hall and a later round pick...

Selinger promising to put fan-elected board in place
A pre-selected pool of candidates chosen by whom? Someone who actually knows what the hell they're talking about (ie - not fans) -- Whether it's the government, or whatever. Fans are morons and can't be left in charge... I wouldn't let any government agents near these selections. You may as well keep the board the way it is if that's the case. The city and province both appoint board members currently. Some strong arguments for communist dictatorship here from some of the most conservative posters. I'm curious who people feel should be at the very top of the food chain. At the end of the day, SOMEONE has to have final say. There has to be a top of the pyramid.......so who should it be??

Jacob Trouba
Oi vey......Hall throws the softest, most brutal, blind pass right to Trouba...he didn't have to do anything but walk in and shoot. Puck was on edge and knuckled on Dubnyk, who had no chance on the play. That's all on Hall, and Eakins is going to beat him with bag of valencia oranges for it...
