My suspicion is that there are a lot of people who haven't looked smart for most of their life clawing at every attempt to show they are smarter than others, when really they just don't understand the complexities of situations. "Vaccines don't work because vaccinated people can still be infected" "The government made the media hype the storm because they wanted people to buy stuff".
As Bartley said, we are already within the predicted range (and not done yet) and we are likely within the predicted range of responses too. Some people didn't care, some people went overboard. This would also depend on some people's ability to handle risk. My grandmother has health concerns and limited mobility, this could make a potential storm, power outages, etc. much more dangerous than someone like me. She should appropriately be over-precautious.
Nothing to see here other than some people trying to grasp at attempts to make themselves look smarter than everyone else because others prepared for a storm. Likely the same people that would be the first to demand help and blame the government/media/WEF if the storm was worse than expected.

It would be interesting to know the real actual percentage that accurately reflects this 'division' of Canadian citizens.
For arguments sake as an example lets say its 85% who believe in science, public health expertise, social responsibility, multiculturalism, teaching learning from history, the importance public education etc etc whereas 15% think it's all bunk and have done their 'research', the government and the medical field is trying to manipulate and control us, taking away our freedoms, our rights to choose.
According to my math, is that really a division?

the key to Twitter is curating your feed properly. Follow the right people, and it's the BEST social media platform by far. Twitter is by far my favourite place to be online because I've filled mine with intelligent people with intelligent things to say. You can say that it's a vacuum and I'm only hearing what I want to hear, but I'm okay with it.

What an embarrassing, utterly disgraceful moment for this country. A bunch of deranged, hysterical narcissists disrupting a city because they're scared, misinformed, and ignorant, pretending they've been oppressed because of a public health emergency.
Waving Gadsen, Confederate, Nazi, Blue Line, F*ck Trudeau flags; urinating on the war memorial; harassing employees and patrons at a soup kitchen; throwing beer cans at media members; threatening elected officials. And that's only the **** we've heard of thus far. **** the "few bad apples" nonsense with this petulant, nonsensical protest. You're all complicit in this pathetic display that's nothing more than a tantrum by entitled oxygen thieves. Shame on all of you.
And most of all: shame on Brian Peckford. What an opportunistic dummy, trying to sue the feds and propping up his stance because he "helped" draft the Charter.

And I believe that Rittenhouse will be acquitted, and that under the laws of the USA he will have a defence that will be accepted. And that to my mind is the problem. In most democratic nations just showing up with a semi-automatic rifle to any public gathering if you are not military or police would be a crime, and if you used that weapon to kill someone, you would not be perceived as defending against a threat, YOU would be the threat. The USA is an embarrassment that this kind of logic does not apply but “stand your ground” is considered good law.

There is no reason in the world to have a handgun strapped to your thigh, this isn't the 1800's, same goes for anyone walking around with a fully loaded AR 15 you are not in the Army nor are you at war, all this is about is an image of toughness, intimidation and strength using the 2nd amendment that is horribly out of date and archaic as there crutch and of course for the makers to make millions and millions of dollars
