Nichols plays in same game, has 300 passing, two TDs (both gorgeous throws), an OL full of backups that had him peeling himself off the turf, some beauty deep balls, and his one pick on what should be a first down that volleyball Kohlert hands to the other team = bad game
Reason: Nichols was playing against their fourth string QB with three better QBs ahead of him, and as we all know, backup quarterbacks play defence!
Makes sense to me! ?‍♂️

Ah yes, the age old doomsayer approach to fandom... predict bad things will happen so one can say 'look how right I was all along', but if things turn out nice in the end you get to say 'well of course I wanted them to win all along' super frustrating bro

The problem is though, you can't always believe everything you read on the internet.  For example, I recall reading someone who was so sure that there was no possible way that the Riders could lose to Montreal.  

Winning the Grey Cup and having the 1st and 9th overall picks is the only acceptable outcome to this season... 

The guy writes a CFL blog and he's just trying to get some clicks... give him some credit for putting in the effort to write about the league... this is not spam...

Let's not kid ourselves - that 2014 team was only a Dave Dickenson away from winning the cup.

Dickenson stepped into the easier position in the league to be a head coach. Championship calibre team, best qb in the league, depth coming out their asses AND a damned fine ex-head coach to guide him if he needs it sitting in the GM chair. 
A lot different than the situation O'Shea stepped into. No depth, no NIs, very little high end talent, wet behind the ears qbs, rookie GM, team with a bad reputation making it hard to actually get people to come here... yeah wonder why things weren't all sunshine and roses from the get go.

Straight up guys. Congrats on getting a spot locked up. Best of luck to the Bombers in the show. The team is heading in the right direction these days, and that's exciting for the fans who have held the fort all these years.

I'm tired of the Bombers taking so long to make these moves.  This should have been done YESTERDAY.

That is quite a shitty site.
First off it sets the "argument" as having equal weight with it's too clever by half, lay out of having two columns of equal size.
-That is just silly- it's akin to giving Creationists equal weight as Darwinists (this a thing?) or... flat-Earthers and reality.
 
Secondly- it is rife with arguments that have been debunked by science. Note: denier claims being debunked by facts and data.  (seriously can't believe I need to add this clarification)

Does a blowout in Calgary get MOS fired?

I don't see how blowing up the past three years and starting all over again with a new staff will accomplish anything. For one, there are no real attractive candidates out there to replace him except for retreads (Higgins, Chamblin). It doesn't make sense to me to promote either of LaPolice or Hall and if you don't extend O'Shea you also lose his abilities as a ST coach and no one can argue the success we have had in that area since he took over from Pat Tracey.
Any momentum this team would have from getting into the playoffs would be erased and once again we would start at the bottom looking up at the rest of the West. Everyone would ***** and moan about how we have a journeyman QB getting on in years and spent too much money on an aging vet WR past his prime. Next thing you know it's another goddamn rebuild and who knows how long until we climb out of that hole.
Walters and O'Shea have done a terrific job of restoring this roster to one that can win every week. Canadian and import depth is at the best state we have seen in years. Our o-line is improving every week and when we suffer injuries the next man up comes in and performs to the point that we wonder when/if the injured player gets back in because he has to earn it back.
But yeah if we lose a playoff game let's torch the **** thing.
