HC - Not directed at you but I find it funny how much the Bombers have been criticized for hiring HCs who have no previous HC experience (Berry, Kelly, Lapo, Burke) but then when asked to name possible replacements they name a bunch of guys who don't have any HC experience like Jones and Dickenson. As for Chris Jones, I can't see him leaving Toronto unless he's offered a HC job and managerial role (GM or Assistant GM) as well. He's said in the past that management is his goal and he is Assistant GM in Toronto now. 
 
OC - Not sure why you're criticizing Barresi since it was Lapo's offence and Barresi seemed to be OC in name only. AC is pretty entrenched in Montreal. Doubt he would leave but then I don't want a first year coach as OC either. 
 
QB Coach - It had nothing to do with cheapness. Burke wanted a RB coach. If he had wanted a QB coach instead he would have hired one but he was satisfied with having Crowton as QB coach as well as OC. As for Buck, thinking he can still play doesn't mean he would be a good coach. 
 
O-line Coach - Don't know if it's official but I saw a reference to Bob Wylie being a speaker at some type of conference and he was listed as the retired o-line coach for Oakland. I know the Riders tried to hire him again after he left the Raiders but he turned them down.

I'm surprised that you think the East Final is going to be at IGF Bluto.  Interesting optimism you are displaying there for Goltz.

Not being as right wing as the Sun does not mean the FP has a liberal slant. Their editorial staff is more to the right politically and they have been endorsing the Tories (federally and provincially) at election time for years.

why the **** are they wanting to talk to Buchko about the teams start in the first place? What's he possibly going to say? I have no problems with the Bombers saying no to the Sun when it's very obvious that they're just looking to fire up a good old fashioned witch hunt. That chain of newspapers schtick is old and teams won't put up with it.

Practicing doesn't mean he's in game shape. Ease him in and let him get up to speed before starting him is the right thing to do imo.

I bumped into him and jason vega in the food court of the mall in Regina last year before the Labour day game. I asked about this and he said that he does see or hear about most of them and thinks they are funny, and that there are some creative people out there.

I enjoy reading these Bryant Turner things but can someone explain how this whole thing got started. 

Saw a report earlier that Turner is out of the hospital and on his way back to Winnipeg.

I thought there were more positives than negatives in this game. Turnovers and penalties get cleaned up and I think we'll win more than we lose.

More like bad guesses. Some will have season tickets but highly unlikely to have suites or loges.

That player whose name escaped you was Armond Armstead who was signed to a 3 year deal worth almost $1.5 million with over $650,000 guaranteed (including his whole first year's salary and $250,000 in the second year). He was a CFL all-star last year as well. Vega was great but he's making no where near that for the Patriots.
