They gutted it out & got a gritty win in a city where they don't win often.
We've won 4 of the last 5 in Montreal...

I think people forget how much terrible quarterback play we've had over the years. It would be wise to keep Willy around for the playoff push this season.
And injuries. When was the last time a QB played all 18 games?

Wonder how the league got Bulcke onboard for their anti-roughrider conspiracy. Riders should investigate the CFL for paying him under the table.

A note of caution about excessive gloating over the Riders' woes- what goes around comes around.
In life, I totally agree.
But this is football. **** the riders.

I was listening to the pbp live on ob, brown wasnt there of course but they didnt think it was on purpose at all. Irving and the local of the week. But yes i was wrong on finer point, while the meta point (that we carry less bigs then any other team in the league) was true. grats i guess?
I only listened to basically that series of the game on CJOB while I ran to the store, didn't catch who was colour, you're right it was surely a local of the week. They definitely mentioned it was intentional though.
I'll take the congrats with pride, as I was not part of that discussion.

This just in, the cfl will be fining the Riders weekly for every known offense that has been called before in the history of the cfl. That is all. Jeffy
STOP ******* BREAKING THE RULES AND YOU'LL STOP BEING ******* FINED
Do all saskatchewanians go through a process of dumbening in order to don the pond scum green jersey?

When does Jones get a time out? He's an embarrassment to the league so far this season.
edit: lol, I love Riderfans when **** goes sour. Highlights from there regarding this fine (paraphrasing)
-It's not Jones' responisbility to watch out for this kinda thing
-Rider fans should stop going to other teams games to send a message to the league (and that message is the riders should be allowed to cheat?!?)
-Fire the commissioner

not on a back field motion play like that. And thats not how one acts when they try to catch some one off sides. Not to mention he lacks the awareness to pick up a gap blitzs or do proper switches with his guards Its doubt full he was doing it on purpose.
I'll take my knowledge of he game and the confirmation from Doug Brown and Bob Irving on the CJOB call as to it being a purposeful snap over your conjecture, especially considering how often you've been demonstrably wrong in the last couple days.

Not really good, he had that awful miss snap that the argos pounced on but was brought back by a off sides penalty.
That was not a mistake, quite the opposite. The Argos jumped offside, and centres are instructed to snap the ball when that happens to ensure the penalty.

That's pathetic. Jones should be suspended and the riders should forfeit their first round pick.

I seem to remember the team sucking just as hard under Nichols last year as they did under Willy. Why are some of you trying to rewrite history and present Nichols as our teams savior and Willy as wet garbage? If Nichols was hot **** he would have been playing week 1, he had a large enough sample size to prove himself.
You'd all make terrible GM's

Except of course that the execution was performed by players that coaching had determined were best left on the bench. Or is Gary suggesting that that was the gameplan all along? ;-)
True, having depth does reflect poorly on the head coach...

I was flipping back and forth between this and the Jays game. I can't sit through that many penalties for a non-Bomber game.
You got sick of the constant play stoppages and general lack of action... so you switched to baseball?

I think the Cats were done before it even started. When TSN had Fantuz on during the rain delay I think he even brought up how late the game would be starting for a team based in the east, I think that the ti-cats probably had it in their minds that it was going to be hard because it was late and they were tired and it showed. The Bombers came out with more energy and Hamilton just couldn't get any traction.
Hamilton is only 1 hour time difference. Ticats were **** for a full 3 hours. Math doesn't add up

I have to agree with you... firing O'Shea after this blow out doesn't seem to make sense...
It certainly would seem that way, and eventually I'll tell you why you were wrong, but first let me demonstrate my exceptional sense of hindsight and explain all the ways why I'm a better GM than Kyle Walters...

This thread's title is a god damn lie.

5 of 7 going back to Lapo's last season as HC. I suspect that number will keep getting worse the father I go back.
Fun facts (kinda), we won more games in Montreal in the 2013 season than we did in Winnipeg. And Tim Burke won as many games at Percival Molson as he did in IGF.
