I'm guessing Morely getting replaced this week and moved back to 6th O lineman. Sears coming in for Parker probably means JJ is safe this week. BTW: The safety has to take the deepest guy on the field, not jump the short inside route, especially against a vet QB. That has a lot to do with the 61 yard TD.

Football isn't as black and white as folks make it out to be. I don't think Edwards gives us enough considering his salary. I don't think he has many good games left in him. Mack brings in lots of good receivers. So sure, I'd go younger and cheaper in this case.

I've been surprised that Carr hasn't been effective since he left Winnipeg. I like the way he plays, especially the fade route in the endzone. Personally, I'd take Carr over Edwards at this point and he would be a lot cheaper. He might even be a decent replacement for Matthews next year. All that being said. I doubt the Bombers will make him any offers unless a couple of import receivers go down.

We chose not to take any of our starters. Burke said don't be surprised if we get spanked. We get spanked. We don't score. Stop making excuses for how bad we played. There is no excuse for 52-bagel. Stop complaining about folks who don't like losing 52-Love. There is no need to wait for a regular season game to complain when we get spanked.

Way too much football to be played to be talking about the GC IMHO. Some teams will play better than I expect. Some will play worse. Injuries will take their toll and not in an even way across all teams. Who knows how Montreal will react to a new HC or if AC finally shows his age. As it stands right now, not having seen any teams play this year, I'd take a wild guess at a Tor - BC Cup.

So if Etienne doesn't become a star, all those people who have had his back for 2+ years should have their noses rubbed in it? Nope! If I could, I'd be there tonight, but I expect there will be lots of empty seats, not just the unsold. DiCroce was only available in the 4th round due to his injury history. We took a chance on him and it might still pay off down the road. That's way different than taking a chance on players with an injury history in the first round.

10 Wins isn't an unrealistic target as long as Buck stays relatively healthy.

Camp needs to be about the QB's as that's our number one problem. I'm looking forward to the glowing reports from Rookie then training camp, but I'm keeping my expectations low until I see the team play for real.
