This would be true if Buck was obviously better then the other guys, but he hasn't been. If Buck plays, it will be interesting to see what he can do with Marcel calling the plays, but I'm not holding my breath that it will be much better or that he can stay healthy. If Buck doesn't give us a substantial increase in QB play over the other two guys, which Mikes advanced stat thread shows, then we are delaying the advancement of Hall or Goltz by one more year for no good reason.

With limited practice time, he has to work with the existing playbook. He will keep what he likes, and slowly introduce his own wrinkles week by week as time and practice permits. I wouldn't change the game to appease those people. They will hate the CFL no matter what. Even if you played with full NFL rules, they wouldn't watch it because it isn't the "best" players. If you want to make an argument to change a rule to make the game better for the people who watch it, then that should be discussed.

In this week's Pick 'Em pool, 52.9% are picking the Bombers so far. Pretty low percentage for a voting base made up of mostly Winnipeg fans.

Short version: Working through some site issues. It will be coming back Long version: I need to keep the "default" theme of the site going for some older browsers. The new menu system (which was what allowed the About drop down to appear) wasn't working properly on it, so I disabled it until I can figure out what the issue is. Once I do that, the other menu system (and the About menu) will come back. Nothing to do with the new look. This has always been broken, but I just found out about it.

I agree. Ideally the new banner will be mostly blue and lay over top of the existing gold.

At the bottom of the webpage there is a link that says Change Theme. Click it then choose Morning Big Blue. Unless you are running IE8, in which case, you may run into problems Some people had to change back to the software's default theme for IE8 to work properly. If you do change the theme and it works for you, then the Pick 'Ems link will then work as well
