I'd just like to thank Matt for his contributions this year and in the past as a Bomber. I hope his surgery is a full success and he is back playing better than ever next season. Just be grateful neither of those losses to Toronto or Montreal were the Grey Cup game. If it's going to happen it's way better to happen now.

Strongly disagree. The turnovers happened due to really, really bad hires by the board and GMs and the lack of good players coming into the team. The frustration of the fans were and are a reflection of that incompetence. O'Shea may or may not be the coach to finally lead the team to the Grey Cup final, but the polarized thinking of many in this forum, that it's either O'Shea or a return to the Dark Ages does not help. If it comes down to Walters firing O'Shea, the same intelligence and diligence that Walters has shown in building the team would also guide him in finding a good replacement for O'Shea.

I went back and listened to it again. I don't disagree with your interpretation. When I first listened to it,  Coach made it sound like a passive, "we're going to try to score more" versus "we're going to run up the score on them". But, that's splitting hairs and may not be that different.

Should he coach the end part of the game by looking at the statistics for the whole game (basically the first half) like you've done here? Isn't that the mistake that he was supposed to have learned about?
It seems to me that if it's late in the game and the D is leaking like a sieve, and it was, having just given up two easy touchdowns, that we're going to need to score some more points.
I realise this is 20-20 hindsight but wouldn't it have been better for O'Shea to say, Paul, their offense is on fire. Our lead has dwindled to six points. No way can we give them the ball back or we're going to lose this thing. We've made this mistake before, no way are we going to let it happen again. We need to keep the ball, burn the clock, and it'd be best if we could score some points, okay? Paul, I need your best play calls here.
Then, and only then, if we try our best on offense to move the ball and they stop us, do we punt the ball back to them and hope we can hold on.
It seems to me that the worst thing to do is to lamely run into Montreal's stacked box and give them the ball back, which is what they're desperately hoping you'll do since their offense is on fire and has just scored 2 effortless touchdowns.

Honestly I think it was brought up in the chat room during the game that the only deep shot they took was from Adams. Very strange to not let the qb try and deep passes. 

I'm on it! As of this post, it's 4 days, 22 hours, 40 minutes until kickoff, I'm sure I'll be perfectly rowdy by then if I keep up my drinking habits from the past ~36 hours (notably escalating half-way through the 4th yesterday).
