People really like spiced rum - but I can't acquire the taste. CM is definitely not for me. Are there any you would recommend?

Absolutely. One of my favourites is called Shipwreck which has a vanilla flavour to it. There’s also Bumbu which is kind of a banana flavour, but I can drink it straight on the rocks, which I can’t with CM!

Fired up my first Game Day Winnipeg beer... Stone Angel Mount Joy Irish Stout. I'll move to whiskey a bit later, but Winnipeg beer to fire up the game day, always... And a "**** The ______" (whoever the opponent is) toast. Doing our part to bring the good juju so far....

Love me a good stout. Calgary has started to bring in lots of Canadian brews from all over, I’ll have to take a look.

It’ll be spiced rum and ginger for myself. With a variety of appetizers.

Yeah....a dline guy would be more ideal...love Rose and actually would have him before Houston....but another beast on line to help free up the Jeff's would be ideal

My guess is that Osh is giving the loyalty/tenure start to Rose more than amything

Or maybe he throwing a curve and is gonna finally park soldier boy for a useful DA...lol

    But sadly that won't happen

Action Jackson can’t go anywhere Booch. Osh has set it in stone.

Rose for Biggie....maybe.. I'm not sure what the reasoning is behind this move. Are they thinking Faj is gonna be throwing a lot and thus the db?? I realize that Biggie is very difficult to replace, but I'm pretty sure we have a big body or two to choose from. Like Haba  or Fox

I’m guessing Biggie is just hurt. Non contact injuries are never a good sign.

    Love Darvin.

Too bad he didn’t want to be given a full reception by the fans that he deserved.

It was clear that he just wanted to focus on the now.

Hopefully he comes back to a game some day and gets a proper thank you.

I can’t believe he didn’t get signed anywhere this year. Dude was as good of a deep threat as there was.

Counter point, Brady. Who’s a viral sensation for rescuing tons of animals all over. No better, or bigger diplomat for charity and being a good person in the league. That’s not to mention his countless hours of charity work with groups like variety. Time>money. Other wise Zach could but that award every year if he so desired. Or Chris jones.
Also, the toxic waste dump that has been the riders with a zillion fines and suspensions for dirty hits and attempts to injure. Money, doesn’t change or fix that.

300 rushing 100 receiving. Go big lol

Brady’s work is phenomenal, undoubtedly. But as a completely non football related award, I’m not sure it’s a big deal. Again, I don’t care who wins it, I’m proud of those who are contributing. Brady could win the next 10 and I’d applaud him.

What a story Collaros would have had. Every team has one player that would qualify for that award.

I believe it was Dave Naylor before last year’s Grey Cup that said Collaros should be considered one of the greatest comeback players in all of sports, and I agree.

Guys like Larry Dean, Kyrie Wilson, who have comeback strong from Achilles injuries deserve recognition. Next year there will be guys like Masoli, Malik Henry, etc. It’s a great idea.

No one should win CFL Awards because they volunteer. Player awards should just be based on performance & nothing else. The League should have a separate award for player volunteer activities off the field separate from anything they do on the field. The NFL has one called The NFL Man Of The Year. I believe it's called. They also have the Comeback Player Of the Year Award which the CFL does not. I'd like to see two awards like that.

    Amen, love this idea.

Man of the Year Award is presented prior to the kickoff of the Super Bowl, and that’s a great time to do it.

Comeback player of the year award should absolutely come into play.

The awards are obviously a sham

I mean how many of these media clowns actually watch games

    Tsn picks narrative (Betts kelly)

    Cfl media rolls with it

There’s also east coast bias. It’s more prevalent in sports where there’s late night games, but the media will often watch the eastern teams, then call it a day. So you’re likely correct that some of them likely just read storylines and didn’t actually put thought in.

You seem to be getting upset they there are other players who do community work.

Weird hill to die on. But you do you.

Had Dalton Schoen and Castillo won the awards, I would’ve applauded them for their community work. Who cares who’s recognized as long as they’re out there doing good for their communities 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was ******* sickened watching these awards. All the Arblow love....two....2 (!!!!) ******* awards for the Riders!!!!???

I honestly kind of wish we were playing Toronto on Sunday now because we would murder them worse than Montreal did last weekend. Now poor ol' Faj is gonna have to take it in their place and he's doing to get buried alive.

I don’t think anyone should take much issue with the Riders getting two awards for activities off the football field. One is Lenius who goes to schools to promote mental health awareness, the other is Lauther who planned a large Rider event in Phoenix which raised $20,000 for KidSport. Really nothing to be outraged over.
