I'd have rolled the dice with streveler and brown personally but might not have been an option. Feel better letting brown go assuming we keep streveler anyway. Collaros has a year or two left IMO before he needs to be replaced.

Of the 19 starters I would say we could use upgrades on Bennet, and  Thomas,  With 10 draft picks we are in decent shape
   

Last two years this team should’ve handily won the gc. Underachieving the main goal with the best team isn’t an achievement. Take the best roster and team and finish with a great record that’s kind of expected. 
 
Marty Schottenheimer is a great example of a nfl coach who was considered great, but underachieved when it counted most. He got the rap of a guy who could turn a team around and could take you to a big game but not win it. Mos isn’t a Marty. But he’s also not a bill Walsh. At the end of the day, his teams don’t hate losing enough. Culture is more important to him than winning.  

Have you ever been down Hastings/East Hastings in Vancouver/Burnaby? Makes our downtown look like the Garden of Eden and it's cleaned up from what it was 10 years ago. I do business with 3 locations along that strip and it is not uncommon for the metal roller shutters to stay closed all day while people work inside and the rear parking areas are 10ft fences with barbed wire on top.
Winnipeg is in no way the worst downtown in the country and is not what keeps people from coming here. Weather, ignorance and the perception of what it is like here are what keep people away. 

I will ask this of our resident expert, what is the economic impact of the CMHR? What is the ROI? How does this compare to other cultural events/venues? 
I'll hang up and listen to your reply. 

You  can tell the people who sit inside all day in the suburbs  and drive everywhere they go.

Nothing like dancing on a guy’s  grave on his way out with some cheap pot shots and character assassination of a serviceman. Sometimes I agree that Lyin’ Guy wasn’t far off with his “bunch of assholes” comment. Not upset about the cut from a roster point, but the man came in and did whatever was asked of him and did it competently enough, whatever the assessment of the skill of the position or the utility of the roster spot. And he served his country in the military in an elite service branch that makes him deserving at least of thanks and respect instead of mimicry, and makes him as tough if not tougher IMO than any poster on this site, whether they be ex-football player, gym rat, or keyboard comedian wanting to see circus acts or having a laugh at his expense.

Yes, and was absolutely torched over and over again throughout the year and picked on repeatedly in the Grey Cup. Just because a guy catches a few 50/50 balls doesnt mean he's good. You dont think its somewhat telling that the Bombers didnt try to bring him back??

Judge is better than Bighill imo at least now.

I can't put into words how badly I want Cody Fajardo to play against the Kansas City Chiefs..... he might ACTUALLY die....

We 100% will.  Younger if from the Toronto tree which is a lot more Cover 3, 2 high looks.  Less match coverage, doubt we'll see any Cover 0, which is basically what Hall ran the enter 4th Q in the last Grey Cup.
Halfbacks and SAM will be a lot more of a playmaker role than a cover role I'd bet.  Safety will be more defined role, less roving.

As it looks right now our front 7 on D is rather uninspiring
