Is it just me or does it seem counterintuitive to pay up for the "ratio breakers" with the way O'Shea uses his roster? 
 
Don't get me wrong, I know the CFL is all about how good your Canadian talent is, but part of me thinks there's no point paying 250k+ for a star Canadian RB/DB/WR/whatever because we aren't maximizing our roster with the ratio to play the most American talent anyways.
With the way MOS just plays 8-9+ marginal Canadian starters and rotates in 3-4 more, we'd almost be better off with 10-12 good but not great Canadians and save our money overpaying for the Canadian starter at a non-traditional position.  I wish we would utilize the fact that we have the luxury of a Canadian RB by using the extra American on the DL or OL, but instead most games we just trot out 7+ more Canadians at the regular spots too...

Naylor says the bombers have requested and been granted permission to talk to Mike Miller (toronto) for the oc position! 
He notes miller is a candidate for the argos hc job still.

Jesus watching this 4th quarter again for the first time is driving me crazy. I remember why I don't like Buck. 

AND Zach threw the same amount of interceptions as completions (2) after coming back in..at least until the 3min warning. The interceptions were not outstanding plays by the defensem the first was horribly underthrown and the 2nd never should have been thrown at all. 

OH there's another int from Collaros to make it 3 interceptions. So he's now at 2 completions to Bombers and 3 to Argos...Someone tell me if that's better or worse than Terrys performance?

I don't believe it's that rigid.  Just that he knows if he spends $300,000 on a Z receiver that means one of the slot receivers has to be a rookie kind of thing.  Pretty standard budgeting.

Toronto's D came in hot and would have diced up whoever played at QB. It doesn't matter.

Walters calling this a turning point for a new era has me hopeful that running it back is out of the question this year.

Well they let wolitarsky walk for clercius.... thats part and parcel of succession planning. You are super obsessed with numbers, yet a guy like Bailey as an example had success here but didn't have it elsewhere. Situations matter. 
But you are again missing the entire point, the point here is oshea makes bad decisions with the roster, included in that is dressing guys who have shown they are not totally useless and then giving them 0 reps while 3 other players at the same position can barely move yet play the whole game.
So how can we trust that oshea is making the best choices possible? We can't.

I didn't see any Bombers fans cross the line at all. Going to the GC in Regina the fans were way more hostile to Bombers fans than Bombers fans were to Riders fans this weekend. 

Cringey too listening to the Riders fans boo Carney and yell obscenities any chance they got. But oh well, that's politics I suppose.

Other than that it was a well put on weekend, that's for sure

I guess I'm used to Bomber home games where the home team is insanely loud. I guess they aren't selling many tickets in Regina so that might have been a home game feel for them.

From where we sat the section was 50% Bombers fans, 25% riders fans, 25% misc.

Some of the Bombers fans cheered Riders, some Als. A bit of a mixed bag 

The WR that I like on our negotiation list (for what we need, imo) is Eli Pancol from Duke.
Bryce Kirtz is an okay name to bring in, he might even be a good player for us but it’s been a while since we had that go out and get the ball type dawg as a receiver, the kind of guy that can just body DBs and be a tough haul to bring down. That’s the kind of guy I want to see us bring in.

Impressive win by Sask. I thought Montreal would be a lot better but they were just disappointing. 
Winning Grey Cups is hard. There is a lot of love for Jason Mass in this thread and he is absolutely a darn good coach. But he's got one Cup win and just dressed a QB with a hamstring held together with chewing gum. 

2022- 15 carries for 82 yards, 1 catch for 4 yards. Bombers QBs are 14 for 25 for 183 and 2 picks.
2023- 19 carries for 119 yards and a td, 1 catch for 8 yards. Zach was 19/23 for 236 yards and a pick.
2024-  11 carries of 84 yards and a td, 2 catches for 18. Bombers Qbs are 15/33 for 202 yards and 4 ints.
I'd say Brady showed up in those games.
Meanwhile we're paying a guy $600,000 who was a combined 48 of 76 for 621 and 6 interceptions. That's 16 for 25.1 for 207 yards and 2 picks per game.
So Brady was 45 for 285 yards and 2 TDs and 4 catches for 30 yards. That's 95 rushing yards per games (6.3 ypc) with roughly a TD.
