yeah I agree....Those guys should be getting some defensive reps...and both should show well....Kelly missing hurts....and Makonzo would be huge....hopefully by mid summer both are back and we have some better options with our DA's Hopefully tho we forego the 3 import oline as thats hurting us...especially if Neuf cant go as we could conceivably be playing a a rookie and 2 2nd yr guys...with a center that strugges at the best of times surrounded by vets....thats my concern...Strev could be running for his life tonight

Considering Lawson is possibly going to be eased in...and Kornelson....well is a huge question mark...showed less than Schmeck...and he didnt show much...so that reeks of Thomas being on the field.....alot

I wouldn't panic, they have 4-6 games to sort out the roster, pending injuries. I'm sure all 4 receivers fighting for the two open spots will get a second look, who cares if they extend TC competition into the season if they can afford it, and decisions made are not written on stone tablets.

Wheatfall absolutely won a spot in the starting lineup in preseason. If he can take a step that's huge for the offense.

Well for me the issues is that Kornelson is your depth... now maybe the guy is some hidden gem, but I doubt it, and I doubt he was the absolute beat option for that spot. An injury happens and he is it for depth on the DL and that's a concern.

I’ll add Streveler to that list. It’s kind of funny no one is really talking much about how Strev will look tonight. He’s our backup QB, coming off a major injury. I feel good about him and it seems most do, but it’s odd nonetheless.

Dressing 4 DT's says that? When half the defensive snaps we'll probably only have 1 on the field? I think they are kind of thin on the edge but it's also been a conscious decision of the DC to change their approach to pressure. I don't agree with it, but they have built for it. More basketball style defense from the first 2 levels of the D, which can be disruptive but often isn't consistent.

To be positive, looking forward to seeing if Wheatfall takes another step this season, how Vanterpool and Randolph look on the oline, if Wallace can get some run on the oline and how Smith and Shay progress.

Especially the first 2 GC losses that were so close that a few plays could have made the difference in winning and losing.

To an extent that is a problem yes. I'd love to see AR expansion. But not to the degree we have it. Yeah probably. I think it's gonna be a tough close game. They have, but even by those standards, our pass rush was bad last year.
