Those complaints are legitimate and bother me as well. Especially the choice of ball or wind. I was more so commenting on the in game complaints about the secondary or Offense etc. It's easy to complain about stuff during the game, but when watching on TV especially...there is just so much missing context. Multiple players commented on the weather after the game and how crazy the wind was. Watching on TV it didn't look that bad at all. The calling for firing of coaches or cutting players etc is just funny to me. And that last drive, the Bombers secondary was playing soft, but that was by design. People might not like it....but making an offense go 10+ (nevermind 15+) plays without a mistake will most of the time work out pretty well. CGY's O is no joke and VAJ and company executed damn near every play they ran. Bombers didn't want to give up the quick score and they didn't. Yes it almost cost them, but I'm not mad at that strategy.

They really like Eli tho and what he does overall....and he likes it here and wont hold them over the coals SMS wise so I doubt they get rid of him for any reason...And I still think he takes over center....Overall team benefit/value it just makes sense and there wont be any major drop off...I liked we ran 2 TE sets with him and Danial's with both running out doing outs into the flats at the same time...Be interesting once we start using that I curious tho about Practice report/injury report today...if we get any and what we may do at linebacker.....Woodbey for sure is out and I know Smith went out after his big special teams hit and never came back to play, but stayed dresssed...likely precaution as he got his bell rung on the hit. If he is good to go I wonder if we replace Woodbey with another dline guy, or go the WR route? Also Hoping Dixon is OK as he was starting to get in a groove/rythm, but that being said if Fletcher can come on in early games...and make it too difficult to pull him then could easily see him and Dixon on roster. We dont need another LB on with Ayers...Wilson...Jones..griffin...Shay...SMith....and I thik the reason we saw so much Kelly is because he is the backup to Smith so was taking Smith's defensive reps

eli has missed a lot of tc, he isnt 100% yet, plus rust and need to get into game shape. by the time he is where he needs to be, it will likely be too late to get a starting spot imo. We have the two kids rights in the nfl, with a pretty good chance of atleast one being here mid season. We’ve already given up on rando, so writing is gonna be on the wall for the likes of eli.

The Grey Cup this season is on November 15th in Calgary. Next year it will be a week earlier.

Referring to the current schedule. GC is at the end of November.

Midpoint of November will mean a week after the GC is played. Cold weather isn't really an issue. I still say that fans will sit in cold or bad weather if there is something on thre line late in the season. They sure won't early when there are still 17 games left.

That was the first game this week where both teams were bad. Like both Ottawa and Edmonton have big holes to fill. They can probably compete with the Winnipeg Calgary Montreal Hamilton of the league but, In the end, Edmonton and Ottawa will lose more than they win. Cuz for us much as maybe complain at times, I’d take Rankin and Mack on the bombers and maybe a linebacker or 2 but that’s it. They got some holes to fill. Ottawa? It’s a rebuild there it appears but with a bad QB but the bad QB wasn’t really the biggest problem.

I’ll just say this, generally in the sports that do these kinda play in playoffs like basketball and others, the bad teams still lose their games. The better teams win overall. Some teams get help from a pro wrestling vampire like character and don’t lose again. And honestly the idea I think makes sense as if I hear playoff game as a fan I think it’s more important and it likely means there’s a higher chance I pay money to go see the playoff game. Look at Hamilton and Ottawa this past week. They were half empty or half full, maybe if that’s aplayoff game it’s full cuz maybe there is no next week. I don’t think you can say cfl needs more revenue then go no not that way. I dunno. Again, I think you said it in another post, gotta give the changes a chance.

Not saying he's the answer but losing wasn't all on him. The RedBlacks look just as bad as they always have. That secondary was awful.
