  1. Past hour
  2. Keys to the game ol. Lots of change, but we need them to play well together to get our offence going. strevy. Gotta take what the D gives, not force throws or running. Play qb and run for easy yards if the opportunity is there. Secondary. They need to start out hot this year for us. The Leo’s can move the ball through the air and get hot. If we limit them through the air it’ll give us a great shot. Players to watch, Parker, Lawson, Randolph, and sterns. Those guys producing would give us a huge boost.
  3. we had the exact same roster frustrations last year and our D was four points a game better than the next best D in the league. and for all the talk of us clinging to veterans, I see we've moved on from Bighill and Alexander -- both super key veterans and leaders since they've been here, guys who were absolutely key in our GC victories. think I'll let them play the games and then judge.
  4. I'll be happy if we win wire to wire but I put my money on BC being up after the first quarter and the bombers still running the game. Got 5.4 to 1 on that
  5. So basically the best and worst stadiums
  6. We lost Streveler around Labor Day last year ... we had at most half a season to get Wilson some game reps and IIRC we only had one game against Edmonton that had significant garbage time where we could have put Wilson in. The rest of the games were 100% dogfights and all were must-win to get the Western bye. The very bad early record in 2024 and the Streveler injury really forced us to put all the eggs in the Zach basket and left us real vulnerable to a Zach injury.
  7. Osh still has that look from time to time........
  8. Zc himself said he told guys he can't throw long...also on sidelines said he couldn't really hold ball Never threw with glove before...after 1 series "to see" shoulda been yanked
  9. I am also a CPA and I am also sorry i am an accountant lol
  10. Caleb Evans
  11. other than his finger was half torn off....
  12. I watched that Edmonton game and wasn't super impressed with BC's offense. Buck looked a lot like O'Shea in his first season as HC, kind of lost and not knowing what was going on most of the time.
  13. Copeland not a HOF'er IMO. One great year in an all-time great offense in Montreal and a lot of underwhelming years as a #1/#2 target. Not a big playoff performer. Consistently good, not great. Just around for awhile. Like Dalton Schoen has already had two seasons up there with Copeland's best.
  14. Last year BC came in here 5-1 for first game of a home and home. Basically a chance for them to put us in their rearview for good, split the games and they'd have tiebreak plus be up 3 games. Win both, up 4 games with tiebreaker. Bombers were 2-6. Vernon Adams was the MVP. Bombers had 6 DL dressed. 10 LB's. Schoen was gone. BC had 1 first down in the first half. I think we can put some trust in Jordan Younger to build his D to beat this team. Bombers won here 25-0. Bombers won in BC 20-11. Bombers won the West Division. BC averaged 12 points a game against the Bombers last season. They didn't even get a chance to play us in the playoffs. Now they have Rourke and Buck, so we'll see. I wouldn't expect Vaval to get any reps on D unless there are injuries. He's on to return. So put that guy who's a returner and does nothing else at DB, receiver, backup place kicker, does it matter? Can't get too deep into the weeds here.
  15. Yes, Bombers HOF class of 2008. 3 time all-star, MOC winner, 12th all-time in take aways. Doesn't immediately come to my mind as a great either but I'm sure there are worse in the HOF.
  16. Today
  17. As much as I should be happy for Buck getting a head coaching gig in BC, I just can't pull for him. I'm more thank God he's gone than he deserved the job & sad to see him go.
  18. i always wished the Brian Wilson had written one more verse. Great song but I feel it's too short.
  19. 6 bucks is great for a good beer... But for that piss rice water stuff? Way too much..
  20. Justin McInnis (prove me wrong, Bombers!)
  21. I think that biggest issue for debate is not whether he was hurt or not, but what does it take for MOS to pull a starter whom he has great respect and admiration for if things are working well for that athlete on the field over a extended period of time?
  22. And for arguments sake even if everyone on staff agreed they had a capable QB2 to come in ready to go it really felt that the only way MOS would bring in another QB would be that Zach 100% physically couldn't go, i.e., I'm sticking with Zach no matter what unless he gets carted off. Dedication to the athlete versus other viable options. Tricky balancing act.
  23. Scott Flagel??? Was good but does not stand out in my mind as one of the all time greats, is he even in the Bomber HOF?
  24. Buck has said Collaros told him he was good to, and he didn't have a reason to not believe him.
