  1. Past hour
  2. I really don’t enjoy the Leafs not a big fan they smell quite putrid so would it be okay if we could, say, trounce them stomp them kick them square in the nads tonight?
  3. Intruiging for sure..I could see him doing well in a role like woodbey did..off the edge..in the box covering the intermediate zone and flats But watching his tape...he could be a real good downhill safety too, with ability for some real good over the top coverage..hopefully he pans out and gets a DA role to experiment with him Him at safety if he is real deal and Allen at corner...versatile scenario..especially with woodbey amd hopefully Griffin
  4. Yup Maple Leafs, Raptors, Jays etc say hi. That’s why the commish and his team and whoever else need to do everything in their power to elevate the status of the CFL so large markets like TO will smell there’s money to be had in the CFL like the money grubbing capitalist ******* that they are.
  5. They'll be lucky to draw 10000 fans to their 6 home games. No one will miss them, it seems.
  6. It's GMs like Ed hervey that are irresponsible. You know he'll be throwing money around like it's no tomorrow & have a last place team again.
  7. no doubt. it’s not that which worries me. it worries me that cfl teams can’t spend responsibly or do financial planning worth a damn. I’m all for these guys getting great pay.
  8. These guys were so underpaid for years & at some positions still are. I have no problem if the cap goes up significantly.
  9. For the health of the league we obviously need the Argos healthy and thriving but this does look good on them.
  10. Today
  11. Trying to have it done before free agency this year. I don’t want to know what free agents will get if the cap goes up more
  12. I just remember Brandon Browner patrolling the secondary with the Stamps. Receivers had a hard time with his size (height), speed & physicality. He dominated.
  13. He’d be a very good fit at either, also at wil/nickel. Hes a down hill type more than a side to side guy. The sam needs to be a good bit of both, especially in our system. His so so agility would be the big obstacle, plus the nuance of the position. He certainly has that upside and versatility that we should challenge him in camp with many positions and see where he settles. Those big fringy guys who can cover are extremely valuable in Ds. For me, i’d build a D around as many of those outlier match up nightmares as possible.
  14. With his size, physicality & speed, wouldn't he be better suited to play SAM rather than Safety?

  16. Except for, you know, the youth unemployment rate. The very people we should be focusing on don’t have 2 nickels to rub together because every entry level job has been given to some 3rd world indentured servant.
  17. Things went off the rails for sure. When ownership doesn't care this is what happens. Pinball is such a company man. He straight out lies to cover MLSE & his ass.
  18. Toronto just sounds like an absolute dumpster fire off the field. Even Pinball wants out or at least wants to reduce his involvement. https://3downnation.com/2026/01/17/mike-pinball-clemons-mum-on-toronto-argonauts-tampering-allegations-john-murphy-departure/
  19. “I agree to a certain extent, then there’s a certain extent that I don’t agree with. It is what it is, but obviously, we have to have a lens. That’s one of the things I always talk about. Players have to have lenses; coaches do too. We’ve got to do a better job getting our players prepared to win football games. I think we had some adversity last year. I thought we handled it the best way we could, but there’s some things that we need to get better at. And then there’s a reason why some of the guys that were on my staff aren’t coming with me to Ottawa.” Dinwiddie only brought two coaches with him from Toronto to Ottawa — receivers coach Pete Costanza and quarterbacks coach Drew Tate — choosing to fill the rest of his staff with new faces or incumbents.
  20. Didposable income is nowhere near what it was in 2014. people just don't have the money to spend on things like tickets to sporting events. canada is like a closed small market. I don't know how much the CFL can grow in this economy. The CFL should be looking at outside the country & Europe for increased revenues.
  21. The rise of Fentanyl and the increase of meth usage is a major reason for the tent cities across Canada. BC has been hit hard with lots of people going out west where they can survive on the streets during winter. The addictions are so strong that even if you offer a free facility to clean up , the drugs will still win out. I'm not sure what the solution is.
  22. Ya. Grocery owners are d bags. Tent cities have always been a thing but more so after Covid it seems, food banks are always full. My daughter and I picked up some stuff for Siloam over the holidays. Trust me when I say they appreciate everything but yes, I’m not sure certain problems can be fixed tho but this isn’t about that. We will agree to disagree. A segment of the population isn’t everyone.
  23. Amazing how drafts work elsewhere like the NHL, NBA, MLB & the NFL but somehow it can't work for the CFL.. Teams draft the players they want out of college as per the number of rounds a draft has. Then they sign free agents from their teams they want to keep, or that were never drafted or veteran players from other teams that are no longer under contract. They also trade to acquire assets. Of course, with veterans already on a roster teams don't need 100 rounds to refresh a roster. Just because there would be an American draft doesn't mean teams can't sign players undrafted as free agents which is what they would be. Nothing really would change. A draft is designed to create excitement. College football fans in Canada probably know more about kids in college in the US than kids in Canada that nobody ever sees because games are never televised. And drafting someone from an SEC or Big 12 Conference would definitely create that excitement.
  24. Addison isn't just big (tall), he plays big. Converted to S during the COVID-shortened season after starting out as a WR (2 years). In the 3 years post-position change, he was very productive. The good: Size (6'5 195), Athleticism 4.55 40 10'7"broad, 36" vert, great explosive numbers, good speed, and average agility numbers. Successful position change. Versatility, he played a lot of teams, backed up, but played a lot of reps. Played very well against the run and the pass. Physical, with a great nose for the ball, made a lot of plays. The bad, a bit slight build for his height, 6-year covid super senior, despite playing well and for big schools, didn't get much NFL interest. The Ugly is, only a 1-year starter despite being in college for 6 years. Overall, really good pick up for camp. Very high upside, the type of guy who could fit extremely well into JYs system, and has an inside track to playing his way onto the team with his team's skill set. He's a crafty, extremely physical football player who has that lunchbox ethic and dog mentality that Mos loves. Which, in a very big-bodied athletic DB, is a great combo. He's going to be in a very tough position to make the roster, with Kramdi/Allen/Woodbey, hopefully Griffin, and likely Vaval as a Di. But he's got the talent where he could come in and take a job, or capitalize on any opportunity that pops up. https://www.nfldraftscout.com/cfb/bio/1021804 https://uclabruins.com/sports/football/roster/bryan-addison/14419
