Went to practice this morning. Nothing ground breaking to report. Thought the running back 36, smaller American guy looked solid. Really effective blocker in the one on ones. Imo play of the day was made by Corcorcan(can't remember how to spell his name, but the wr they drafted this year). He is slow...there's no doubt about it. But he went up and made a great play on an under thrown ball that should have been intercepted. Schoen looked like himself out there. No brace on. No lack of speed etc. Routes were as sharp as ever. Talked to him after the practice and he said he was feeling great and anxious to get back out there. He was great with my son too. Talked to him a bit and gave an autograph. Sergio is the man...he came right up to my boy (who was wearing his schoen jersey) and talked a bit, then said he'd introduce him to Schoen after practice. Which he did. Needless to say, we had a great morning!

I wonder if they maybe make marner or even Tavares an offer if they make it to July 1. Marner here would be sick and Tavares is a 2 center still so I wonder. Lots of cap space. Eventually someone will sign here as a UFA. Why not now. Tavares actually speaks positively of Winnipeg they say. jets will sign 2 UFAs this year. Both initials are JT. All the JT’s are ours soon. Not really bomber related, but last week I was in the US for work and something about football came up and someone was like Chris loves Canadian football. I said something about the bombers and he was like I won a grey cup in Winnipeg which was 2006 and the only grey cup I've gone to in person. He was playing for BC at the time.

Exactly...it's not a need...and carrying 3 on the active roster...2 of which are not top tier...and don't help on ST is just a waste Use those 2 national spots on practical players who excel on teams and can take reps on offence or defence

Lawson basically has had 1 real major injury Not that I don't like Jake..he just not good...or best option last few yrs and now serves zero purpose...zero upside..and just slows down any transition another yr...and vet leadership? ..we have tons so that "excuse/reasoning" holds zero validity as well

Agree. I think Lofton is on the verge already of being passed by both vanterpool and Randolph. Those two side by side on the right would be great. Yeah and honestly his upside at this point is not far off ayers floor.

As I said that's mine concern too. Wilson hasn't had a healthy season since 2019.
